PACKAGING INCLUDES
After you have unpacked the speaker system, check all the contents of the package so it contains all of the items below. If anything is missing, please call us.

• (6) Rubber clamp adapters (1/8” thickness)

SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS

While we have designed the mounting system to provide a safe and stable installation, it is important to remember these are objects that will be used in an environment that is extremely bumpy and turbulent. Please consider all possible scenarios where these will be placed and secured.

INSTALLATION

1. Unpack and disassemble the clamps from the speaker. Make sure you account for all hardware when removing it from the clamps. There are lock washers that must be re-installed on the clamp.
2. Determine the location of the speaker.
3. Determine the correct rubber clamp adapters that are needed for your application.
4. The rubber adapters will need to be cut to length, so they fit the enclosure and clamp.
5. After the rubber clamp has been cut, remove the white protective layer and stick them to the clamp and enclosure.
6. Place the speaker on the tower and have the top clamp ready to place on top.
7. Screw the two bolts evenly, until snug. Once the position is verified, tighten the bolts another half-turn. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
8. The speaker accepts up to 16 GA wires, it is recommended you use a high-quality marine-grade speaker cable for your installation.

WIRING

1. Main Speaker pod with the Built-in Amplifier (Left Side).
2. Wired Remote Control Input for MXRC (sold Separately)
3. 3.5mm Jack Extension wire for MXRC (included with MXRC).
4. Backlight Extension wire for MXRC (included with MXRC).
5. MXRC Remote Control (Sold separately).
6. The remote control backlight output (Red 22ga) connects this to the MXRC remote control.
7. Right Speaker Output Wire (Black/Gray 20ga) connects this to the right passive speaker pod, black is negative (-) and gray is positive (+).
8. Passive speaker pod (Right Side).
9. RCA Audio Output can use to add a subwoofer or speaker Amplifier.
10. Battery power wire with fuse holder (Yellow 16ga) connects this directly to +12V power source (battery) Fuse size: 15A.
11. Accessory +12V switched (Red 22ga) connect this to turn the MP4TPBT on or off to avoid draining your battery when not in use.
12. Remote Turn-on output (Blue 22ga) connects this to turn on or off an external amplifier.
13. Ground or Negative wire (Black 16ga) connect this to a metal chassis or directly to the negative post of the battery.

OPERATION – CONTROLS

First steps:
Once everything is connected and the accessory cable is powered, the device will turn on or use the power button (1) on the remote control.
When the unit is turned on, it will be in “Paring” mode to be searched from your BT mobile device. Go to the BT devices menu and press “SCAN”, once the device “MP4TPBT”  appears in the list, select it to make the connection.
If “MP4TPBT” is not seen, repeat the above steps to “refresh” the BT devices list.
When the device is paired, a confirmation voice should play through the speakers, so you would be ready to play your audio files and control the volume on your mobile device.

OPERATION – CONTROLS

  REMOTE CONTROL MXRC OPERATION

1. Long press the (POWER/SRC) Button until the MP4TPBT Turns On or Off
2. the press, the (VOL+) Button to raise the volume or you can also use the volume control on your connected device.
   To lower the volume, press the (VOL-) button or use your device’s controls.
3. Use the (NEXT) button to select the next track or song on your playlist.
   Use the (PREVIOUS) Button once to restart the song that is playing or press it again to go back to the previous song in your playlist.
4. Use this (PLAY/PAUSE) button to Play or Pause the music from your device.
5. This Button (PRESETS) has no function for MP4TPBT.

WARRANTY
If your MP4TPBT requires service, please consult with the dealer from which it was purchased, or contact DS18 Audio’s local Dealer. Do not attempt to return your amplifier directly to us without first calling for a Return Authorization Number. Units received without an accompanying Return Authorization Number will be processed more slowly.  Additionally, you must include a copy of your purchase receipt from an authorized dealer for consideration of in-warranty service; otherwise, repair charges will apply.
Units received without a receipt will be held for 30 days, allowing us time to contact you and obtain a copy of the receipt.
After 30 days, all units will be returned without repair.
