58449 Professional Adjustable Shop Seat with Tool Storage
Product Information
The Shop Stool is a sturdy and durable stool designed for use in
workshops, garages, and other workspaces. It has a weight capacity
of 300 lbs and an adjustable seat height of 17-1/2 to 21-1/2
inches. The stool comes with four casters and an air cylinder for
easy mobility and height adjustment. The product is designed to be
assembled according to the provided instructions and used safely
with appropriate precautions.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before assembly, ensure that all parts are present and
undamaged. If any parts are missing or broken, contact Harbor
Freight Tools at 1-888-866-5797. - Assemble the stool according to the instructions provided in
the manual. Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and heavy-duty work
gloves during assembly. - Once assembled, inspect the stool before every use. Do not use
if any parts are loose or damaged. - Hold onto the seat while sitting to keep it from rolling or
tipping. - Do not exceed the weight capacity of 300 lbs and be aware of
dynamic loading. Sudden load movement may briefly create excess
load causing product failure. - Maintain product labels and nameplates. If they are unreadable
or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement. - Do not expose the stool to heat as parts of the product are
under pressure.
Assembly Instructions
- Line up the holes in the Support Leg (3) with the holes in the
Base (4). - Insert a Caster (5) through the Base and Support Leg.
- Attach the Caster with a Spring Washer (7) and Nut (6), and
tighten the Nut securely with a Hex Key. Casters must be fully
secured to maintain stability. - Insert the larger side of the Air Cylinder (2) in the center
hole of the Support Leg (3). - Place the Seat Cushion (1) on the top end of the Air Cylinder
(2). - Press down in a controlled, firm manner on the Seat to press
the parts together. Make sure the Seat is properly and firmly
assembled before use.

Assembly Instructions
1. Line up holes in Support Leg (3) with holes in Base (4).
2. Insert a Caster (5) through the Base and Support Leg.
3. Attach Caster with Spring Washer (7) and Nut (6), tighten Nut securely with Hex Key.
CAUTION! Casters must be fully secured to maintain stability.
4. Insert larger side of Air Cylinder (2) in the center hole of Support Leg (3).
5. Place the Seat Cushion (1) on the top end of Air Cylinder (2).
6. Press down in a controlled, firm manner on the Seat to press the parts together. Make sure Seat is properly and firmly assembled before use.

Operation Instructions
1. To lower seat, sit on the Stool and pull up on the handle until you have lowered the seat to the desired height.
2. To raise Seat, stand next to the Stool and pull up on the handle. Release handle when Seat has risen to the desired height.
3. To prevent Caster damage, do not roll the Seat while loaded over rough surfaces, such as concrete seams.
