Product Information

The PH3-LLT MK2 Proving Unit is a device that provides a 500V DC
output voltage (depending on battery condition) with a 10mA DC
output current into 2k. The unit has an LED indication of voltage
active and has dimensions of 41mm (h), 82mm (w), and 157mm (d). It
requires a 9V DC PP3 Alkaline Battery for power supply and has an
IP Rating of 40. The unit is compliant with BS EN 61010
standards.

Product Usage Instructions

Before use, ensure that both the PH3-LLT MK2 and the LLT MK2 are
clean and dry. Visually inspect all parts of the PH3-LLT MK2, if
any parts are damaged do not use the PH3-LLT MK2. Do not hold LLT
(Live Line Tester) MK2 between the hand-guard and the contact
electrode as there is an electrical shock risk. Always confirm that
the LED indicator on the proving unit illuminates when the test is
activated.

For maintenance, clean only with a dry cloth and do not use
solvents. Check the battery contacts and compartment for
electrolytic contamination, and clean any contamination with a dry
cloth. If the item becomes faulty, do not open it; instead, return
it to the manufacturer or an authorized Seaward Service Agent.

To maintain the specified performance, the instrument must be
verified at regular intervals by either the manufacturer or an
authorized Seaward Service Agent. The recommended calibration
period is one year.
