Product Information

The Duzy 24/18 Hearth Kit is a gas fireplace kit manufactured by
Hearth and Home Technologies. It is available in different models
and control options:

• VDY24/18NVP (Natural Gas Millivolt Control) – Active

The kit includes various service parts necessary for
installation and maintenance. These parts are not sold directly to
consumers but can be ordered from a dealer or distributor. When
requesting service parts, provide the model number and serial
number.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the Duzy 24/18 Hearth Kit, follow these steps:

1. Ensure the gas supply is turned off and the valve is
   closed.
2. If using a manual control model, locate the regulator and
   control valve. If using a millivolt control model, locate the
   control valve, on/off switch, and wire harness.
3. Connect the appropriate gas supply line to the regulator or
   control valve.
4. If using a manual control model, connect the injector to the
   control valve. If using a millivolt control model, connect the
   injector to the control valve and wire harness.
5. Install the pilot assembly according to the instructions
   provided. Use the appropriate pilot assembly based on your gas type
   (NG or Propane) and control type (manual or millivolt).
6. Attach the thermocouple/thermopile to the pilot assembly.
7. Once all connections are secure, turn on the gas supply and
   open the valve.
8. If using a manual control model, ignite the pilot flame using
   the piezo igniter and adjust the flame using the control knob.
9. If using a millivolt control model, turn on the on/off switch
   to ignite the pilot flame. Use the control knob to adjust the
   flame.

Always refer to the user manual for specific instructions and
safety precautions before operating the Duzy 24/18 Hearth Kit.
