Product Usage Instructions
The SmartVPN Client is a VPN configuration utility that makes
VPN configuration easy for users. Follow the steps below to use the
SmartVPN Client:
- Download and install the SmartVPN Client on your supported
operating system. - Launch the SmartVPN Client application.
- Select the desired VPN schema from the available options (PPTP,
L2TP, IPSec, OpenVPN, WireGuard VPN, or DrayTek SSL Tunnel). - Enter the necessary VPN configuration details, such as server
address, username, password, and any other required
parameters. - If using SSLVPN, ensure that your server certificate is
verified and supported by Let’s Encrypt. - If using a battery-powered computer, make sure to connect to a
power source or be aware of any battery warnings while connecting
to the VPN. - For IPsec & L2TP over IPsec profiles, enter the pre-shared
key when prompted. - If using mOTP (mobile One-Time Password) authentication, ensure
that the username and PIN code are entered correctly. - Import any WireGuard VPN configurations if needed.
- Check for any known issues or improvements mentioned in the
release notes and take necessary actions accordingly.

The Smart VPN Client is a VPN configuration utility. It makes VPN configuration easy for users. It could support the following VPN schemas, PPTP, L2TP, IPSec, OpenVPN, WireGuard VPN and DrayTek SSL Tunnel.

Known Issue
SmartVPN Client will possibly pop up an error “Hardware failure in port or attached device.” if a user tries to reconnect SSL VPN after a long-time performance test with SSL VPN.
