· Inspection to ensure there is no shipping or installation damage
· Verify all clearances meet manufacturer’s specs · Check all mechanical and electrical connections · Validate all duct and other connections to the unit
are properly sealed · Ensure proper operation of all unit controls
and sequence of operation · Validate that utilities are sufficient for proper operation
(incoming volts, amps and gas pressures) · Validate options and accessories are operating correctly · Ensure proper operations of all motors (direction and
amp draws), motor starter or VFD · Check and adjust belt tension (and alignment) · Validate all linkages are operational and secure
(and free of any obstructions) · Ensure proper operations of all actuators
· Support questions of integration of the equipment by the controls engineer
· Validate the heating section is operating correctly: amp draws, gas pressures and temperatures
· Validate the cooling section is operating correctly: check and record all operating pressures (weather permitting)
· Validate the energy recovery module is operating correctly (record all operating amperages, voltages and temperatures and rotation)
· Check Hot Gas Reheat operation, record all operating pressures and temperatures (if applicable)
· Check DX condensate drain is trapped correctly and primed (weather permitting)
· Check 90%+ condensing heat option (if applicable) to ensure condensate drain line is trapped correctly and primed
