Pella Polished Brass Storm Door Outside Handle
LEVER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
If replacing an existing lever, reuse the holes from your previous lever. If necessary, drill new holes.
- Cut out the template, then fold and tape onto the door edge, approximately 39-1/2″ up from the bottom of the door.
- Verify the interior lever will not interfere with your entry door. Adjust up or down as necessary to correct for clearance.
- Centerpunch and drill the 5/16″ holes
- Determine yoUI screw and spindle lengths based on your door thickness.
- Rotate the lever for a left or right hinge installation and insert the spindle.
- Assemble the components onto the door and secure the two lower screws (see chart).
- Drill the top hole 3/8″ deep using a 3/32″ bit. Hint: Tv avoid drilling through the door,
- Secure with the upper screw.
- Oose the door and position the strike to make contact with both latch and slide bolts.
- Mark the centers of the slotted holes and predrill using a 3/32″ bit.
- Secure with two screws.
Note: Shims are included if necessflry to build out the strike.
