Wireless APP

Product Information:

The DrayTek Wireless APP is a mobile application designed for
configuring and monitoring VigorAP devices. It allows users to
easily set up and manage a Vigor Mesh network, providing several
key benefits:

• Intuitive and easy setup of a Vigor Mesh group
• Automatic configuration synchronization for newly added
  VigorAPs
• Basic configuration options for WiFi name, password, channel,
  admin password, TR-069, etc.
• Monitoring of WiFi signal strength and topology for Mesh nodes
  (APs)
• Monitoring of WiFi clients with device names, signal strength,
  real-time data rates, etc.

New Features:

• Ability to reboot AP
• Support for Configuration Backup & Restore
• Display of sorted client data usage (download/upload) and total
  data usage on the Client page
• Display of client’s Download/Upload Usage information on mesh
  station list
• Firmware Upgrade support through FTP site (AP with firmware
  1.4.4 and above, Router with firmware 4.4.2 and above)

Improvements:

• Support for blocking clients on access points only
• Improved waiting time for auto refresh of online/offline
  profiles

Product Usage Instructions:

To use the DrayTek Wireless APP, follow these steps:

1. Download and install the app from the Google Play Store.
2. Launch the app on your Android device.
3. Ensure that your Android device is connected to the same
   network as the VigorAP devices.
4. On the app’s main screen, tap on “Set up Vigor Mesh” to start
   configuring a Vigor Mesh group.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the Mesh group,
   including WiFi name, password, channel, admin password, TR-069
   settings, etc.
6. To add new VigorAPs to the Mesh group, tap on “Scan and Sync”
   and follow the prompts to automatically synchronize
   configurations.
7. Monitor the Mesh nodes (APs) by tapping on “Mesh Node” and view
   WiFi signal strength and topology.
8. Monitor WiFi clients by tapping on “WiFi Clients” and view
   device names, signal strength, real-time data rates, etc.
9. To reboot an AP, go to the AP’s settings page and tap on the
   “Reboot” option.
10. To backup or restore configurations, go to the settings page
    and use the “Configuration Backup & Restore” feature.
11. To view client data usage, go to the “Client” page and check
    the sorted client data usage (download/upload) and total data
    usage.
12. To upgrade firmware via FTP site, ensure that your AP or Router
    meets the minimum firmware version requirements and follow the
    firmware upgrade instructions provided.
13. If needed, block clients from accessing access points only by
    enabling the appropriate setting in the access point’s
    configuration page.

manual or contact customer support.
