How to Measure Your Door

CHOOSE YOUR DOOR HANDING AND SWING

Masonite doors can be installed for right or left handed operation (as viewed from outside the home)

MEASURE THE WIDTH OF YOUR EXISTING DOOR JAMB:

• 4-9/16″
• 6-9/16″
• Other

MEASURE THE EXISTING ROUGH OPENING

To ensue accurate measurements. first remove the interior casing on the sides and top of your single or double door to reveal rough opening frame.

1. Measure from inside the face of one stud to inside the face of the other stud a and write down the measurement
2. Measure from the subfloor (plywood or concrete) to the bottom oft the header above the door and write down the measurement
