Frequently Asked Questions
It has two sets of terminals: the ones shown in the image and the ones on the other side that are not. I bought two of them for a little bathroom installation, and they sound great, are crystal clear, and have just the proper amount of bass.
Only one channel may connect to my set at a time (a push terminal for the common speaker wire marked black and a push terminal for the positive speaker wire marked red). I guess my speakers are different from yours.
There isn’t a switch for individual speaker control. At the receiver unit, modifications are made in all areas. at the very least on mine.
Left and right channels are included on each speaker. Each speaker can receive both channels. If you decide not to, I believe one of the tweeters will be inactive, which most likely won’t have an impact on the bass. On my patio, I connected them such that each had a channel from both. Although there is no stereo separation, if you are directly underneath one, the whole sound is heard.
I’m powering mine with a straightforward Sherwood receiver/amp that I spent between $100 and $200 on at Radio Shack. Sounds fantastic. On the back of this speaker, there are two sets of speaker wire inputs; the right speaker wire should be connected to one set, and the left speaker wire to the other. This sounds better than the speakers I used to have in my bathroom. The stereo separation provided by two speakers is not at all missed. It is actually preferable to have the L&R channel coming from the same location in a bathroom since you can hear the music equally across the space. I flush mounted it in the ceiling over my two sinks and ran the wiring to it through the attic.
In a technical sense, you can. There are various options: you can choose not to connect one of the coils, connect them in parallel (doubling the impedance, making 8 ohm speakers 16 ohm), or connect them in series, halving the resistance (8ohm becomes 4ohm). Visit this website (http://www.diyaudioandvideo.com/FAQ/Wiring/) for a more thorough discussion of series and parallel wiring as well as the significance and effects of speaker resistance. When I started wiring my house, it was quite helpful in getting the idea through my head.
Hello, these speakers have a dual channel configuration, which means that the left and right channels are combined into a single cylinder. Connect your amplifier’s left and right channels to the relevant terminals. Visit our website, pyleaudio.com, to view the unit’s further specifications. Unlike Bluetooth
Standard speaker cable must be used to connect the speakers. An audio jack port is not present. You could utilise them if your shelf system connects the speakers using conventional speaker cable. If your shelf system calls for an audio cable port, you just can’t plug them in that way.
Hello, sadly not. There is only one speaker in the item. I’m grateful.
