RTE7OTA Wired Digital 7 Day Programmable Smart Room Thermostat
Product Information:
The RTE7OTA is a wired digital 7-day programmable smart room
thermostat that is OpenTherm compatible. It comes with a wall
mounting plate and requires batteries for operation. The thermostat
has three wiring options: COM, NC, and NO. It also has an Optimum
Start feature that prioritizes comfort and an Eco mode for
energy-saving. The product also has advanced installer settings
that can be accessed through a specific mode.
Product Usage Instructions:
Installing Batteries:
- Remove the battery cover from the back of the thermostat.
- Insert the batteries in the correct orientation.
- Replace the battery cover firmly.
Mounting of Wall Mounting Plate:
- Position the wall mounting plate on the wall at the desired
location. - Mark the screw holes on the wall.
- Drill the holes and insert the wall plugs.
- Screw the wall mounting plate onto the wall.
Wiring:
The wiring should be done by a qualified electrician or other
competent person. If you are not sure how to install, consult a
professional.
Mounting of the Thermostat:
- Connect the wires to the appropriate terminals on the back of
the thermostat. - Mount the thermostat onto the wall mounting plate by aligning
it with the pins and pushing it into place.
Please Read Before Programming the
Thermostat:
The product has an Optimum Start feature that prioritizes
comfort and an Eco mode for energy-saving. In Optimum Comfort mode,
priority is given to comfort, and in Eco mode, energy-saving is
prioritized. The thermostat also has a Delayed Start mode that
allows you to set a delayed start time for your heating system.
Advanced Installer Settings:
The product has advanced installer settings that can be accessed
through a specific mode. These settings allow for more
customization of the product’s features. To access the advanced
installer settings, follow the instructions provided in the
manual.
