Materials
PurePressure declares these gaskets are manufactured with Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber. EPDM is a synthetic rubber with elastomeric properties; qualities include extreme durability, enhanced flexibility, and high resistance to environmental factors. This material complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 rubber articles intended for repeated use. It also meets 3A Standard 18-03 and passed USP 87 & 88-Class VI Cytotoxicity testing.
