FAQs

Has anyone tried this with audiobooks? I’ve had trouble with speakers clipping sentences before.

This speaker is excellent quality. So far no problems with audiobooks, or anything. Sound quality is great. In addition this speaker has been getting beaten around in Afghanistan since I’ve owned it… Water dumped on it, covered in sand, dropped out of armored vehicles, kicked to the side because of needing to react to things… It’s literally war proof.

Can these be paired to use multiple speakers?

When you buy this speaker, stereo pairing is a gamble. MID 2390918 does stereo pairing. MID 2390718 does not do stereo pairing.

is this speaker pair able with amazon echo dot?

It pairs easily with the Echo Dot and/or you can connect it with the RCA jack. Unfortunately, this speaker powers itself off if not used for a few minutes. This makes it completely useless with the Dot.

Does the speaker come with the Bicycle mount

yes and pivots turns.

Does this have a 3.5 aux input for mp3 player that does not have bluetooth capability?

Yes.

Has anyone mounted this on their jetski?

Don’t see why not…I’ve mounted mine to a kayak and river tube, worked great and as expected. I even dropped it into Frio River, it floated and continued to play…Awesome speaker.

Can I connect a microphone to this via bluetooth or aux and sing or make announcements while the music still plays?

I don’t think so, I just play music via Bluetooth.

Has anyone had theirs turn off because the volume was over half?

I’ve had mine up all the way and no problem.

How long does it play on a full charge?

I’ve never really timed it but I can say that I’ve had it playing outdoors while working on my yard and it’s played at least 4 to 5 hours. I researched quite a few and this was my choice for the money. Sound is very good and can play loud.

The blue led bluetooth search signal light keeps flickering but I only use the speaker plugged into iPod via aux. how do I turn it off?

Usually pressing the volume +&- keys simultaneously for at least 5 seconds will clear the Bluetooth signal, admittedly this function will sometimes fail, don’t know the reason for this issue. You may try a factory reset by accessing the switch through the center of the aux connection with a pin also.

Does this have a hook on it? Looking to attach this to my backpack. need a speaker that can be hooked to the outside of the bag.

While there is no loop on the outside (for paracord etc.) there is a threaded screw hole for attaching to handlebar or what have you using the supplied bracketry. It shouldn’t be too much of a task to find a metal eye bolt that matches your local hardware store in order to achieve the desired method of attaching.

Is this the mini or regular?

I’m not 100% sure if there is a bigger size than this one. I know there is a smaller one or two. It’s a decent size speaker, so I’d guess the regular. Sorry if this isn’t what you’re looking for.

Does it play memory stick (usb)?

No it’s bluetooth or aux.

Can you use this on a ranger ? And does it come with mounting brackets?

It comes with a bracket for a bike handle but I matched a bolt to mount it to my kayak.

Has anyone used on an atv? How loud is it?

I use it for music both at home and in the car. I run music off my IPAD through it. It is easily loud enough for me at home and in the car. I am 64 so I may not play my music as loud as some people.
