Wave Tool Advance for SMMS-u and DX Coil Interface
Product Information
The New Wave Tool Advance is a smartphone application designed
for the installation and maintenance of compatible air conditioning
equipment in the SMMS-u and DX Coil Interface Advance series of VRF
products. It allows users to check system aspects and perform test
functions on compatible AC equipment. The application is available
for both iOS and Android devices, but requires NFC functionality
which is only available on iPhone 7 or newer models.
The Wave Tool Advance supports the SMMS-u system and can display
TA/TF/DDC sensors when connected to the new DX Coil Interface
Advance.
Main functions of the Wave Tool Advance include:
- Test Operation Function: Used during the test operation of the
AC equipment. - Setup Function: Configures settings for the test
operation. - Auto Saved Data Output: Reads and shares information
automatically saved in an outdoor unit, enabling other workers to
access it. - Save Data to Outdoor Unit: Allows saving of information on-site

Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that you have a compatible smartphone with NFC
functionality. The Wave Tool Advance application is available for
iOS (iPhone 7 or newer) and Android devices. - Download and install the Wave Tool Advance application from
your respective app store (App Store for iOS or Google Play Store
for Android). - Launch the Wave Tool Advance application on your
smartphone. - To connect with the SMMS-u system and access additional
features, make sure the new DX Coil Interface Advance is properly
connected to the SMMS-u. - Use the various functions of the Wave Tool Advance application
as needed:
- Test Operation Function: Use this function during the test
operation of your air conditioning equipment. Follow the
