LG W11422896B Extended Drain Hose Kit

Instructions for Installation

Open the extension kit and check that all parts were included.

WARNING

Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.

Step	Description	Figure
1.	Unplug machine or disconnect power before servicing.
2.	Remove Drain Hose outlet from the collection tank fitting.

3.	Slowly but firmly pull out the drain hose from its fitting in the pump outlet. Discard the drain hose.
4.	Slowly but firmly push the longer drain hose on the fitting of the pump outlet.
5.	Plug in machine or connect power after servicing.
6.	Insert hose so that the end of the hose extends 4.5″ (114 mm) into the standpipe. Floor standpipe drain system: Minimum diameter for a standpipe drain: 2″ (51 mm). Top of standpipe must be at least 30″ (762 mm) high; install no higher than 36″ (910 mm) from bottom of dryer.
7.	Be certain not to kink the extension drain hose when moving the dryer into position.
