Open the extension kit and check that all parts were included.

Excessive Weight Hazard
Use two or more people to move and install the dryer.
Failure to do so can result in back or another injury.WARNING

Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.
Step | Description | Figure |
1 | Unplug the machine or disconnect the power before servicing. |  |
2 | Remove the Drain Hose outlet from the collection tank fitting. |  |
3 | Slowly but firmly pull out the drain hose from its fitting in the pump outlet. Discard the drain hose. |  |
4 | Slowly but firmly push the longer drain hose on the fitting of the pump outlet. |  |
5 | Plug in the machine or connect power after servicing. | |
6 | Insert the hose so that the end of the hose extends 4.5″ (114 mm) into the standpipe. Floor standpipe drain system: Minimum diameter for a standpipe drain: 2″ (51 mm). Top of the standpipe must be at least 30″ (762 mm) high; install no higher than 36″ (910 mm) from the bottom of the dryer. |  |
7 | Be certain not to kink the extension drain hose when moving the dryer into position. |  |
