Product Information
The Reese 18 Globe Pendant (Item # MF5184) is a stylish and
modern light fixture that adds a touch of elegance to any room. It
features a globe design with a metal frame and glass panels. Please
note that bulbs are not included with the pendant. This product
should be installed in accordance with all applicable local
installation codes by a person familiar with its construction and
operation.

Product Usage Instructions:
- Carefully remove all parts from the box and place them on a
clean, soft surface. - Detach collar loop (D) from the chain (F) by removing the quick
link (E). - Install the mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure
it with the provided mounting screws (C). - Secure the collar loop (D) to the mounting plate (B) using
pliers to tighten the locknut. - Attach the canopy (G) to the collar loop (D) and secure it with
the collar ring (H). - Determine the desired overall length and amount of chain (F)
needed. Use chain pliers to shorten the chain, keeping the extra
chain for future use. - Attach the chain (F) to the collar loop (D) and fixture loop
(I) using quick links (E). Secure the quick links (E). - Install the light bulbs into the sockets.
- Attach the chains (J) to the hooks on the fixture loop
(I). - Place the bottom glass (N) into the fixture frame (O), then
place the metal ring (M), top glass (L), and another metal ring (K)
into the fixture frame (O) to complete the assembly. - Align the top opening of the completed assembly with the bottom
of the cluster, then carefully navigate the assembly into place and
attach the chains (J) to the hooks on the metal frame (O). - Thread the fixture wire and ground wire through the chain (F).
When reaching the collar loop (D), ensure there is no tension on
the wires. Cut any excess wires, leaving enough to reach the
junction box.
Care Instructions:
Clean the pendant only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster.
Do not use abrasive or chemical agents that may damage the
surface.

Chain Pliers Wire Cutters
1. Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.
2. Remove collar loop (D) from chain (F) by removing quick link (E).
3. Install mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure with
mounting screws (C).
4. Secure collar loop (D) to mounting plate (B) using pliers to tighten
locknut.
5. Install canopy (G) to collar loop (D) and secure with collar ring (H).
6. Determine desired overall length, and amount of chain (F) needed.
Shorten chain using chain pliers. (Keep extra chain)
7. Attach chain (F) to collar loop (D) and fixture loop (I) using quick
links (E). Secure quick links (E).
8. Install light bulbs into the sockets.
9. Attach chains (J) to hooks on fixture loop (I).
10. Place bottom glass (N) into fixture frame (O), then place metal
ring (M), top glass (L) and metal ring (K) into fixture frame (O) to
complete assembly.
11. Align top opening of completed assembly with bottom of cluster, then
carefully navigate assembly into place and attach chains (J) to hooks
on metal frame (O).
12. Thread fixture wire and ground wire through chain (F).
NOTE: When you reach the collar loop (D), ensure there is no tension
on the wires. Cut excess wires, being sure to leave enough to reach
the junction box.

13. Separate two sides of molded wire, and strip insulation on each 5/8″. 14. Loosen collar ring (H) and let canopy (G) slip down chain (F) carefully. 15. Twist all fixture wires together. Slip through center hole of collar
loop (D). NOTE: Untwist wires and separate to prepare for connection. 16. Wrap fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 1). Tighten. Continue fixture ground wire and connect to supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using wire nut (A). NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded. 17. Connect fixture neutral wire (ribbed) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (A). 18. Connect fixture hot wire (smooth with markings) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (A). CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections. 19. Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the junction box. 20. Install canopy (G) to collar loop (D) and secure with collar ring (H).
