Product Usage Instructions:
Package Includes:
- 1x 5G CBRS Outdoor Router
Before starting the setup, make sure you have the following:
- An Internet connection
- An electrical outlet or a UPS (Uninterruptible Power
Supply) - A PC/Laptop
- A BEC Indoor Wi-Fi Router (optional)
- A PoE (Power over Ethernet) injector
To perform a hard reset, hold the reset button for 6
seconds.
Connect the router to the Internet using one of the following
methods:
- If you have an available Ethernet port on your Internet source,
connect it directly to the LAN (PoE) port on the router using an
Ethernet cable. - If you have a PoE device that provides both data and power,
connect the data cable from the device to the LAN (PoE) port on the
router. - If you have a separate PoE injector, connect one end of the
Ethernet cable to the LAN (PoE) port on the router and the other
end to the PoE injector. Connect the PoE injector to your Internet
source using another Ethernet cable.
Insert a SIM card into the SIM slot on the router if
required.
Connect any additional devices or accessories as needed.
Follow the provided user manual for further instructions on
configuring and managing the router.

The AirConnect® 8231 allows providers to reap the most beneficial and anticipated capabilities of 3GPP Release 16 compliant 5G NR over n48 CBRS shared spectrum. In addition, the platform is designed for pure 5G greenfield standalone networks yet offers the flexibility and migration path of existing 4G LTE networks.

Unique to BEC devices are GORE® vents for pressure equalization, humidity, and airflow, thus improving performance reliability and longevity. The enclosure is IP68/UL 50E rated for protection against dirt, water ingress, and operation in extreme temperatures. Furthermore, enhanced safety lighting/ESD protection to ensure years of dependable operation.
