The K165xK265 is an Intelligent Video Telematics Solution that
offers extraordinary versatility and outstanding performance. It is
a reliable and flexible platform designed for fleet management
solutions. The device features dual SD card slots for multi-channel
operation scenarios, allowing for dual SD card recording. It also
supports comprehensive satellite tracking and Automotive dead
reckoning (ADR) for precise positioning even in adverse conditions
(optional). The K165xK265 is equipped with a 3-axis G-sensor and
Gyro support for enhanced safety.
The device integrates with the vehicle’s ECU to acquire vehicle
and engine telematics data. All video footage is safely stored on
both the SD card and Cloud, ensuring secure storage. The K165xK265
also embeds powerful AI technology for advanced functionality.
It offers expandable channels, allowing users to connect up to 4
extra cameras to the device. The K165xK265 is easy to install in
minutes and comes with a windshield mounting option. It supports
NANO SIM or eSIM for connectivity and has LTE Cat. 4
capabilities.
The K165xK265 features a road-facing camera, dual SD card slots
with storage up to 512GB per slot, USB Type C port for data
transfer and USB cam option, Mini USB port for optional cameras, an
all-in-one connector for connecting to the vehicle battery, NFC for
driver ID verification and instant pairing with other devices, an
emergency recording button to protect important clips, and LED
status indicators for 4G LTE and WiFi connectivity.
In operational scenarios, the K165xK265 supports dedicated
vehicles with video recordings using SD cards, ADAS & DMS (AI)
features, and dual-cam synchronized recording. It also offers
expandable channels for connecting additional cameras. The device
can be managed through a fleet management console that provides a
dashboard, track history, geo-fencing, live view, and event
notification functionalities. It utilizes a cloud-based
infrastructure for storing sensor/telematics data, event videos,
and images.
The K165xK265 comes with various accessories including an OBD
power cable, entry cable, premium cable, cable cap to tidy up
cabling, and external cameras such as a waterproof camera and
optional side camera. The device runs on AndroidTM 10 (non GMS)
platform and has 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage.
Product Usage Instructions:
To install the K165xK265 device, follow these steps:
- Choose a suitable location on the windshield for mounting.
- Attach the device securely using the provided windshield
mounting option.
To connect the device to power and other accessories:
- Connect the all-in-one connector to the vehicle battery for
power supply. - If desired, connect the OBD II dongle and GPIO connector using
the OBD power cable. - For data transfer and USB cam option, use the USB Type C
port. - For optional cameras, connect them via the Mini USB port.
To configure network connectivity:
- Insert a NANO SIM or eSIM into the device’s SIM slot for LTE
Cat. 4 connectivity.
To enable driver ID verification and pairing with other
devices:
- Use the NFC feature for driver ID verification and instant
pairing.
To protect important clips from being overwritten:
- Manually press the emergency recording button to prevent the
clip from being overwritten.
To view device status and connectivity:
- Refer to the LED status indicators for 4G LTE and WiFi
connectivity.
To expand the device’s functionality with additional
cameras:
- Connect up to 4 extra cameras to the device using the available
ports.
To manage and monitor the device and fleet:
- Access the fleet management console to view the dashboard,
track history, set up geo-fencing, live view, and receive event
notifications.
