2302 Electric Labware Drying Rack

Product Information

The product is a bench mount unit designed to dry laboratory
glassware quickly and safely. It provides continuous warm air
circulation through drying pegs, ensuring that the labware is never
too hot to handle. The unit operates on 230VAC, 50HZ, and consumes
431 Watts of power. It comes with three sizes of pegs to accept
glassware.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Turn the main power switch and heat control to OFF.
  2. Plug the line cord into an appropriate 230 VAC outlet with a
    suitable adapter (not included).
  3. Turn the main power switch to ON; the pilot light should come
    on.
  4. Adjust the heat control as desired.
  5. Invert the glassware and place it on the pegs.

It is important to locate the unit in a way that allows easy
access to the AC plug for disconnecting power in case of an
emergency. The user should be aware that using the equipment in a
manner not specified by the manufacturer may impair the equipment’s
protection.

Pegs & Plugs

On each panel, arrange the pegs from small on top rows to large
on bottom rows. For multipanel units, position small pegs on upper
panels and large pegs on lower panels. Plugs are provided to cover
holes where no pegs are desired. Baskets are provided to hold spare
unused pegs and plugs.

Maintenance

The dust filter, mounted at the underside of the base, should be
cleaned once a month (115 hours of operation) by vacuuming. To
remove the filter, snap off its holder.

OPERATION:
Dry laboratory glassware quickly and safely with this bench mount unit. While providing continuous warm air circulation though drying pegs, labware is never too hot to handle. Three sizes of pegs accept glassware.
Use only with Ambient Temperature Range from 5 °C to 40 °C.
· Indoor Use Only
· Do not place near another heating device
· Do not place in direct sunlight
· Do not place near any explosive, hazardous or flammable chemicals.
· Do not autoclave.
Turn the main power switch and heat control to OFF. Plug line cord into an appropriate 230 VAC outlet with suitable adapter (**not included). Turn main power switch to ON; pilot light should come on. Adjust heat control as desired. Invert glassware and place on pegs.
Locate the unit such that the operator will have easy access to the AC plug for disconnecting power if needed in an emergency.
The user should be aware that, if the equipment is used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer, the protection provided by the equipment may be impaired. The Dryers are molded in sections and fastened with steel bolts. The unit is factory assembled and no attempt should be made to loosen the nuts.
