Maintaining your filters is very important to the function of your vacuum
The steps below provide instruction on how to clean and maintain your Dirt Tank and Filters
- If you are experiencing issues with reduced suction you’ll want to follow the complete list of steps before continuing > Go to No Suction
These steps are considered a part of routine maintenance
- Remove Dirt Tank from Hand Vac
- Pull Filter from Dirt Tank > Empty debris from Dirt Tank
- Twist Filter to remove from Filter Frame (machine should not be used without Filter & Filter Frame installed)
- Clean debris from both > Filter & Frame can be rinsed in warm water > Allow to completely air dry (24 – 48 hours) before reinstalling
- Insert Filter into Filter Frame > Twist to secure
- Insert Filter & Frame into Dirt Tank > Ensure it is flush and not angled
- Rubber flap on Dirt Cup should be positioned inside the Dirt Cup
- If flap is pushed out into the channel where tool attaches, suction will be reduced
- Use finger or blunt object such as the eraser end of a pencil to push back into place
- Connect Dirt Cup to machine
- For replacement Filters > Go to Parts & Supplies
- If you were having suction issues and the steps above did not resolve > Go to Brush Attachment
