Summary Instruction

2.1 Operation Instruction

The Semi-Automatic Tyre Changer is designed to facilitate
mounting and demounting tires with rim sizes from 11 to 26 and a
maximum diameter of 1250 mm. Operation against instruction is
prohibited. The manufacturer shall not be responsible for damage
resulting from non-compliance with the instructions.

2.2 Safety Operation Rule

The Semi-Automatic Tyre Changer must be operated by trained
personnel. The manufacturer shall not bear any damage or loss
caused by user’s modification without the manufacturer’s
permission. We hereby state that the manufacturer will not bear the
responsibility for damage arising from use not stated in the manual
or improper, incorrect, and unreasonable. Pay attention to keep the
safety labels complete. When it is not clear or missing, you should
change the new label.

3 Transportation

The transportation of the Tyre Changer needs the original
package and the location as indicated. The Tyre Changer packed
needs to be transported by the forklift with the proper load.
Insert the fork into the position indicated in Pic.3.

4 Unpacking

Remove the cardboard and nylon bag for protection. Refer to Pic.
1 to check if the equipment is intact and make sure there is not
any part lost or damaged. If a question, do not use the machine and
contact the retailer immediately.

5 Installation

5.1 Choice Of The Space

When you choose the installation site, you should make sure it
is corresponding to the current safety regulation. The machine must
be connected with the power supply and pneumatic source. Therefore,
we suggest choosing a place near to guarantee the correct operation
of all the parts. The ultimate space of the installation place
shall not be smaller than that pictures shown in.

2.1 Operation Instruction
The Semi-Automatic Tyre Changer is designed to facilitate to mount and demount the tires which the rim sizes is from 11 “to 26” and the maximum diameter of 1250 mm.

4.UNPACKING

5. INSTALLATION
5.1 Choice Of The Space

Pic. 4 and Pic. 4/A to ensure available operation without any restriction. If the machine is installed outdoors, the machine should be equipped with a protective
shelter.
The Semi-Automatic Tyre Changer with motor should not be used in the environment with potential of exploded.

5.2 Commissioning

Semi-automatic Tyre Changer Manual

Before the work , related to the electrical must be undertaken by the professional personnel to ensure the power supply to be correct and also the phase connect is correct. The proper electricity will damage the motor and without warranty.
Check if the characteristics of your system meet the requirement of the machine. If you have to change the voltage ,please refer to the electrical scheme (refer to part 14 circuit diagram) to adjust the termination board.
The personnel to execute commission must have some knowledge of electricity. The operator must under the special trained and authorized.
The compressed air system is connected to the machine by a pipe joint (Q) on the oil-water regulator beside the box .
Connect the machine with the electrical system which is equipped with fuse. Perfect grounding should meet the local national standard. When necessary , equip with a 30mA electrical leakage protection to secure the safety running of the machine.
Note: The power plug of the Tyre Changer shall be prepared by the user. The rated current of the power plug shall not be lower than 16A, meanwhile meeting the relative regulation to the voltage of the machine.

5.3 Debugging machine
Step on the pedal (U) and the turntable (B) should rotate clockwise. When the pedal is raised, the turntable should turn counterclockwise.
Note: If the rotation direction of the turntable is opposite to the specified direction, the two wires of the three-phase plug need to be exchanged.
Step on the pedal (V) to start the tire pressing device (R); when the pedal is released, the tire pressing device returns to its original position.
Step on the pedal (Z) to open the 4 clamps (A); step on the pedal again to close the clamps.
Step on the pedal (N) and the column tilts back, and the column returns to its original position when the pedal is released.
When the manual valve button (C) is in position 1, the hexagonal bar and the push-pull arm are locked, and the disassembly and assembly head is automatically located in the working position.
When the manual valve button (C) is in position 2, the hexagonal bar and push-pull arm are released.

5.4 Adjust the jaw position of turntable
The clamps of Tyre Changer have been adjusted to the central position before leave factory, the clamp rim from outside size is from 14 “to 25”; inside size is from 12 “to 23”.
If you want to demount the different rim, you can adjust the position of the four clamping jaw, as shown in Pic 6/b.©
Scope of application: Rim diameter (outward clamp) is 13 “-24” , rim diameter(inward clamp) 15 “-26”. Rim diameter (outward clamp) is 11 “-22”,rim diameter(inward clamp)13 “-24”. The operation is as follows:

mobile clamping jaw (2) and slider (3), the position is comply to one of the screw holes of the
lock size.
tighten screw, universal wrench torque must be 72 N.m.
Note: The Pic.6 shows the outward clamp range and must change the four clamp at the same time when change the gear.

Oil filling method: Method 1: Cut off the air source, unscrew the oil filling hole screw and use a needle tube to feed the oil in. Method 2: Cut off the air source, unscrew the oil cup C clockwise and pour oil directly into the cup Note: The oil should preferably be a special oil for lubricator or ISO HG with a viscosity of ISO VG32.
6OPERATION
After read and understood the manual and its warning, you can use the machine. Before operation , completely deflate the air in the tire and all the weights on the tire. The operation of the tire is composed of : Bead braking /Demounting tire /Mounting tire Matters need attention
Before operation , completely deflate the air in the tire and all the weights on the tire. More and more motorcycle rims are made from special materials such as aluminum magnesium alloys
and carbon fiber. In order to lock into this kind of rim , you must use special repair tool of the motorcycle tire. To avoid damage, the maximum pressure of working plate is 5bar.
6.1 Bread Breaking
You should be very carefully when breaking bead. When bead breaking pedal drive the bead breaking arm ship quickly and powerful, the bead breaker arm will be damage to or crush all the things in its stroke area. Check if the tire is deflated. If not, completely deflate the air in the tire.. Completely close the turntable clamping jaws. When bead breaking, if the clamping jaw at the open position, it will be very dangerous to the hand of the operator.
Lean against the tire on the rubber pad (S) at the right side of the automatic Tyre Changer. Press the bead breaker closer to the edge of the rim 1cm (Pic. 7). It should be noted that the bead breaker should be placed on the tire instead of the rim. Press down pedal (V) and start the pressure device. Lift up the pedal when the bead breaker completes the operation or the rim is off. Gently rotate the tire and repeat in the rest of the tire until the flange is completely off the rim. Once again on the other side of tire.

6.2 Demount Tire

Before the operation, completely deflate the air in the tire and detach all the weights on the tire.
Make sure space free behind the tire changer before swinging the column back!

Step on the pedal (N) to tilt the back swing of the column, and the space above the turntable is exposed.
Spread the grease on the bead. Not use of grease will cause the damage to the bead.

During locking the rim, never position your hand under the tire. The correct position to fix is the tire is just at the center of turntable.
Clamp the rim outside between 10 and 20 inches Step down pedal (Z) to middle and fix the clamping jaw (A) in accordance with turntable. Place the tire on and let the rim contact the down edge of clamping jaw. Step down pedal (Z) to the bottom.
Clamp the rim inside between 13 and 24 inches Completely close the clamping jaw(A). Press down pedal (Z)to clamp the rim after place the tire on the clamping jaw.

Make sure the rim is firmly fixed on the clamping jaw.
Don’t keep your hand on the wheel : If your hands stay between rim and mount and demount head, it may get hurt when column return to its original position.
Step on the pedal (N), and the column will return to its original place. When the manual valve button (C) is in position 2, the hexagonal bar moves down, and the mount and demount head touches the rim. When the manual valve button is in position (1), the hexagonal bar and push-pull arm (D) are locked. During the locking process, the disassembly and assembly head can automatically move to a distance of 2mm from the rim in both vertical and horizontal directions. (See Figure 8) Use the crowbar( T) to position the bead to the protrude of the mount demount head NoteTo avoid damaging the tube, you should position the tire valve at the right side of the mount demount head , the distance should be 10cm. While the crowbar in its position, rotate the turntable (B) clockwise by pressing down pedal (U) until the upper bead is completely detached from the rim.
To avoid getting injury, keep your hands and body far away from the moving parts when run the machine. Necklaces, bracelets, loosen clothes or the movable foreign objects near will damage the operator. Remove the inner tube if there is one. Repeat the same operation for other bead. Repeat the same operation above on the other rim.

63 Mount Tire
NoteThe most important is to check the tire and rim to avoid the exploration int eh process of inflation. Before mounting tire, you should make sure that: Don’t mount the tire if the outside is damaged. Check whether the rim is dented or deformed. In particular, there will be small cracks on the rims of alloy wheels, which cannot be seen by eyes, that will damage the durability of wheel and also be risks in inflation. Check the wheel rim and tire are matched. Don’t mount the tire if you are not sure.
Lubricate the tire beads with special grease in order to avoid damaging them and to facilitate the mounting operations.
Don’t put your hands between tire and clamps in operating clamps, avoiding hands injury. Lubricate the tire beads with grease in order to avoid damaging them and facilitate the mounting operations. In the process of clamping the rim, do not place your hand in between the rim and clamping jaw to avoid the damage to the person. Lean the tire against the rim. Press down the hexangular shaft, making the mount demount head firmly contacted with the rim. Left rear bead over the mount demount head tail and right front bead under the front of the mount demount head. Use your hands to press the bead into the groove of the rim. Step down the pedalZ making the turntable rotate clockwise. Continue this operation until the tire is completely inserted into the rim. In the process of clamping the rim, do not place your hand in between the rim
and clamping jaw to avoid the damage to the person. If there is tube, mount it inside the tire. Mount the core and upper bead as per the above
step. Note When mount/demount the tire, the turntable should rotate clockwise. The counterclockwise is only used when the incorrect operation.

7Common inflation procedure :
Semi-Automatic Tire Changer is equipped with Inflation gauge and the inflation procedure is as followings. Connect the inflation gauge with the tire valve. Check if the size of tire is corresponding with the size of rim. Check if the bead is fully lubricated. If necessary , continue lubrication. Inflation. Check the pressure of the pressure gauge. Continue inflation. Check the air pressure while inflating.

Danger of exploration! It should not exceed 3.5 bar(51psi) when inflating. If require relative high pressure, detach the tire from the turntable and place into the inflation cage. Never exceed the pressure the manufacturer suggests. Hand and part of body should be at the rear side of the tire being inflated. Only the professional personnel trained, the others should not operate the machine or at the zone near the Tyre Changer.
8.Relocation
Forklift is required to move Semi-Automatic Tyre Changer. Disconnect the electric power supply and compressed air system. Use the forklift to lift up the machine at one side. Fix it before move. Locate the Tire Changer at a new place. Note: New place must be meet the requirement of safety regulations.
9Storage
If you need long time of storage of the equipment ,you should secure the electrical supply is switched off and lubricate the clamping jaw guide rail on the turntable to avoid the oxidization.
10Abandon
Cut off all the power supply before to scrap the machine. All non-ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals shall be disposed of as wastes in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. Dispose of the oil in the machine at a location specified by applicable law. Discard the waste steel.
11.MAINTENANCE
11.1 Note
The unauthorized personnel is prohibited to execute the maintenance. The routine maintenance described in the manual is necessary to operate the machine correctly and prolong the life of the machine.

If not maintenance often, it will affect the operation and reliability of the machine and may cause the dangerous to the operators or the others near the dangerous area.
Cut off the power supply and pneumatic source before any maintenance. Moreover, if it is necessary to press down pedal U or V 3-4 times to let the air out of air circuit. It must be the professional personnel to use the original parts to change the parts with fault. It is prohibited to detach and modify the safety device (valve to limit or change the pressure).
We hereby state that the manufacturer will not hold any responsibility to the damage arising from the use of the spare parts supplied by the other manufacturer or modification of the safety device.
11.2 Maintenance
Weekly clean the turntable using the diesel oil avoiding the existing of the dust . Lubricated the clamping jaw guide rail. Every 30 days, execute the following instructions
Check the oil level of the lubrication oil tank. If necessary, release the screw to fill in the oil in the oil tank(F). Only use the oil of the viscosity ISO VG32 and grade ISO HG to lubricate the compressed air route. Such as: ESSO Febis K32,MOBIL Vacouline 1405,KLUBER32(Pic.11)
Check if it will fall one drop of oil in the cup(C) when step the bead breaker pedal 3-4 times. If not , use the top screw(A) to adjust.(Pic.11)
Note: 20 days after 1st time of use, retighten the clamping jaw tighten screw and screws on turntable slides. (Pic.12)
NoteIf without force , check if the belt is loose. Disconnect power supply before operation. Take apart the panel at the left side of machine. Unscrew the 4 bolts. Tighten the drive belt by means of the special adjusting screw X on the motor rack .(Pic.13)
NoteIf the mount demount head can not be locked or stopped 2mm above the rim, modify the lock plate of rocker arm. (Pic. 14).
If the mount and demount head is much far away from the rim in the horizontal direction, adjust the adjustment screw of the locking plate of the push-pull arm as shown in Figure 15 so that the dismounting head is 2mm from the rim in the horizontal direction. NoteTo clean or replace the silencers of foot pedal valve , refer to Pic.16.:

1Unscrew the 4 bolts by opening the panel at the left side of machine. 2Take apart pedals to replace or clear silencer. 3 Clean by a jet of compressed air. If damaged , replace the same spare parts . NoteClean or replace the silencer of bead breaker , please refer to Pic.17. Procedures refer to 1)and 3) above.
