Decades of experience in the production and application of core drill bits and core drill systems give TYROLIT the edge in the marketplace. Our expertise from special projects, such as the safe decommissioning of nuclear power stations,  is put to use in the development of our dry drilling product range. The TYROLIT dry drilling system is the first commercial system on the market that ensures easy and cost efficient drilling in reinforced concrete. Clean work and excellent
results in reinforced and unreinforced concrete guaranteed. TYROLIT core drill bits are designed to work perfectly with TYROLIT Hydrostress machines.

• From a diameter of 82 mm onwards an additional distance washer is included for optional use of a vacuum-suction hood

Information / Recommendations

• For use with drilling motors within the range of 1 000 – 2 000 W with or without soft impact
• Do not use rotary hammer drills as it will destroy the tool
• Follow the safety and user instructions packed with the tool
• On request these safety instructions may also be sent separately

Furthermore, the dry drill bits are specially adapted to core drilling with soft-impact function and therefore in combination with the TYROLIT DME19DP drill motor the perfect solution for hand-guided dry drilling applications.

The DME19DP in conjunction with TYROLIT TGD® dry drill bits is the solution for dry drilling applications in reinforced concrete. The practical centring aid ensures precise drill bit guidance and a longer diamond tool lifetime. Switchable soft impact function accelerates work progress, 0particularly in hard materials. The soft start and the LED indicator aid the user in selecting the optimal drilling speed.

Drill motor DME17DP
Core drilling up to Ø 200 mm

The DME17 is a 2-speed dry drill motor for drilling diameters up to 200 mm. The powerful 2.0 kW motor, in combination with the switchable soft impact, enhances the drilling performance in reinforced concrete and in other hard  materials. The machine can be both hand-held and drill-rig operated. The compact design, low weight and integrated dust extraction system makes the core drill very user-friendly. This model is unique in that it is available in three speed  versions (standard, slow and quick) and thus optimally covers the most varied of customer needs.
