Product Information

The i3Ai Service v7.3.2.2 is a software installation package
that can be downloaded from the i3 website. This release package is
used as the default Production software version for all
i3Ai-enabled NVRs effective April 3, 2023. The new features of this
release include the ability for users to choose to play one or
several live channels, as needed, to reduce unnecessary processing
load. The two playback modes are single channel (default) and
multiple channels (including Play all option). The alarm condition
will be met only if the detected objects are of the same type and
meet or exceed the set total count.

The i3Ai v7.3 Compatibility Table lists the compatibility of
different i3 applications and devices with this software
version.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the new playback modes, hover over the channel thumbnail
and click the Play icon to begin video streaming. Click the Pause
icon to stop. Users can choose to play one or several live channels
as needed.

To all of our customers and partners;

This bulletin is the official notice of the i3Ai Service v7.3.2.2 release. The new software installation package is now available for download from the i3 website: https://i3international.com/support/download. Effective April 3, 2023 this release package is used as the default Production software version for all i3Aienabled NVRs.

New Features:
· Edge Ai support for select cameras (M71, M77R2). (#53491) Edge Ai feature utilizes the camera’s own built-in analytics functionality without the reliance on the system’s GPU. By offloading the processing to the camera, media server owners without GPU can still use some Ai features and gather analytics information from more channels without additional system resources. Note: The supported “Edge” Ai features are limited to: Area Alarm (Human and Vehicle object types only), Traffic & Dwell and Door Count. For a wider range of Ai features, use GPU-based Ai functionality.
· Integrated YOLOv5 object detection model for overall better performance and GPU resource conservation. YOLOv5 engine integration lets i3Ai support more Ai channels without the need for higher system resources. (#52755)
· i3Host integration. Single sign-on support and user security (OTP, Login Fail policy, Password rule) (#55508)

Improvements: · Improved system resource utilization by playing live video on demand only. (#55612)
In the previous versions, all Ai channels automatically streamed video in the Live mode. To reduce the unnecessary processing load, the user can now chose to play one or several live channels, as needed. Hover over the channel thumbnail and click the Play icon to begin video streaming, click the Pause icon to stop. The two playback modes are: o Single channel (default)

o Multiple channels (including Play all option)

· Improved the area drawing function in the Setup. o Allow customizing the detection area to focus only on the area of interest (#45749). This feature is available for Alarm and Ai Search options only. By default, the entire image is enabled for analysis. o Display feature type and area name on the tracker. (#46177) o Match the tracker color on both the Live and Setup modes. (#47316)
· Added System > Server logs support. (#23295)

· Added clip buffering for resource optimization. (#44958) Leverage GPU capacity by prioritizing Ai tracking channels (E.g. Traffic & Dwell) with current motion for Ai analysis. When no GPU capacity is available, buffer the video clip (record locally) and analyze immediately when GPU capacity becomes available again. Note: This optimization does not apply to Ai alarming channels that require immediate detection/notification.

· In VPC, show only enabled object types in Advanced Search (#45883). The checkboxes for objects that were not enabled for detection in i3Ai Service will be grayed out in VPC.

The alarm condition will be met only if the detected objects are of the same type and meet or exceed the set total count.
