1500 LB Ratchet Strap

Product Information: 1,500 LB Ratchet Strap

The 1,500 LB Ratchet Strap is a product designed to secure cargo
during transportation. It has a safe working load limit of 500 lb
(227 kg) and is manufactured by Winston Products Company. The

Product Usage Instructions:

1. Read and observe all warnings, instructions, and capacity
   limitations before using the product.
2. Ensure that the split axle is turned less than 1-1/4 turns
   before using the product.
3. Place the strap over the cargo and hook the ends onto the
   anchor points.
4. Tighten the strap by pulling the loose end of the strap while
   holding the ratchet handle.
5. Continue tightening until the cargo is properly secured.
6. Close the ratchet handle fully to lock the mechanism.
7. To release the strap, pull the spring-loaded pawl in the handle
   and open the ratchet a full 180 degrees.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Read and observe all warnings, instructions, and capacity limitations before using this product. Failure to comply with this warning and the associated instructions and capacity limitations may result in serious personal injury and/or significant property damage.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Attach hook WITHOUT Ratchet mechanism to a suitable anchor point. 2. Pass webbing over cargo. 3. Attach hook WITH Ratchet mechanism to a suitable anchor point. 4. Pass free end of webbing through split axle of Ratchet and pull to remove slack. 5. Pump Ratchet handle to tension webbing while being careful not to over-tighten. 6. Rated capacity is based upon 1-1/4 ­ 1-1/2 turns of the split axle while tensioning the webbing. Tie down must be re-tensioned if the
split axle turned less than 1-1/4 turns. 7. Once cargo is properly secured, close Ratchet handle fully to lock the mechanism. 8. To release, pull spring loaded pawl in handle and open Ratchet a full 180 degrees.
