Overview

1. before installing the MineralX Chlorinator, bring the Salt IDS to the ideal level then ensure your pool water is balanced (especially pH and Alkalinity).
   The ideal Salt TDS level is 1500ppm for the MineralX Chlorinator. Salt TDS levels above 2500ppm on the MineralX Chlorinator may cause damage to the unit and void the warranty. Never add salt/minerals directly to the skimmer box.
   To convert an existing salt pool to a MineralX pool: Lower the Salt TDS level to 1000ppm. You may need to partially empty the pool and refill with fresh water to achieve this. Then add Pool Pro Natural Magnesium (Magnesium Chloride) according to the table below, which should bring the TDS level to 1500ppm. Allow the pump to run for 8 – 12 hours to circulate the product.

   Select the pool size (in L) and add the corresponding amount (kg) of Pool Pro Natural Magnesium

   To convert an existing chlorine pool to a MineraIX pool, or to start up a new pool as a MineralX pool: Add the Pool Pro MineraIX blend to raise the Salt TDS to 1500ppm. Refer to the MineraIX bag instructions or scan the QR code on this flyer for more information/dosage rates. Allow the pump to run for 8 – 12 hours to circulate the product.
   Note: For startup/conversion for a low salt pool instead of a mineral pool, bring the Salt TDS level to 1500ppm using pool salt

2. After 8 – 12 hours, ensure pool water is balanced and the Salt TDS level is 1500ppm. Install and switch on the MineralX Chlorinator. bathers can now use the pool.
3. After the initial startup/conversion, use the Pool Pro MineralX blend to maintain the mineral setup (or use pool salt to maintain a low salt setup). Water tests should be conducted every 2- 4 weeks.

Note: Ideal levels for Magnesium Hardness is 600ppm – 900ppm and Calcium Hardness is 200ppm – 400ppm.
