CM9-631 Fire Access Box
Product Information
The Fire Access Box is a device designed to provide access to
the fire department. It is compatible with various gate operators,
including Calimet Gate Operators and other brands. The box is ready
for a padlock (not supplied), which will be used by the fire
department to open the gate when access is required. It is
important to contact your local fire department to obtain
instructions on which padlock to use. While most fire departments
use Knoxbox, there may be some that use different suppliers.

Product Usage Instructions
Calimet Gate Operators:
- Use 14-20 gauge AWG wire (not included) for the
installation. - Splice (join) the wires with the white and black wires of the
gate operator. - Locate the green terminal on the bottom right of the circuit
board. - Insert the white wire into the green terminal labeled
“24V-COM”. - Insert the black wire into the green terminal labeled “EXIT
LOOP”.
Other Brand Gate Operators:
- Use 14-20 gauge AWG wire (not included) for the
installation. - Splice (join) the wires with the white and black wires of the
gate operator. - Connect the white wire to the “24V Common” terminal.
- Connect the black wire to the “Normal Open Relay”
terminal.
It is important to ensure that the wires are securely connected
and that the gate operator is properly installed according to the
manufacturer’s instructions. Following these steps will enable the
Fire Access Box to function correctly with the respective gate
operator.
