Product Usage Instructions
1. Place your pot or pan on the hob surface to activate the
induction heating.
2. The surface around your cookware will stay cool during
cooking, preventing baked-on spills.
3. After use, simply wipe the durable ceramic cooktop surface
with a damp cloth for easy cleaning.
4. Use the PowerBoost feature for very high heat and GentleHeat
for very low heat for specialized cooking tasks such as searing
meat or melting chocolate.
5. The integrated timer helps you keep track of your cooking
time.
6. To use the SmartZone, link two cooking zones and control them
as one to accommodate large pans and griddles and handle bigger
food items like pancakes.
7. Use the soft-touch electronic controls or touch and slide
controls to adjust settings.
8. The induction cooking technology ensures energy-efficiency by
heating only the cookware, not the hob surface.
9. For joining multiple cooktops, a joiner kit (Part 534731) is
required (sold separately).
10. The hob has a pan detection system to ensure safety.
11. The hob has an auto cut-off timer for each zone and a minute
timer.
