antenna connectors, dual MIPI-DSI (4 lane each) and Touchscreen,
dual MIPI-CSI (4/2 lane), I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, USB 2.0 (HOST),
SLIMBUS, USB 2.0 (OTG), GbE, and audio interfaces.
The Micro SoM is powered by a +3.3V/6A input and has dimensions
of 28mm x 50mm. It comes with software support for Android Lollipop
5.1 BSP and Ubuntu Linux (Linaro) BSP.
Product Usage Instructions
1. Power and Connectivity:
- Connect the +3.3V/6A power input to the Micro SoM.
- For network connectivity, use the dual-stream 802.11n/ac Wi-Fi
for wireless internet access, GPS/GLONASS for location services,
and Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless device connection.
2. Storage and Multimedia:
- The Micro SoM features quad-core processing with a KraitTM 300
CPU @ 1.7 GHz each and 2MB L2 cache. - It includes an AdrenoTM 320 GPU with support for QXGA/1080p
resolution, OpenGL ES 3.0, OpenCL, DirectX, and Renderscript
Compute. - For multimedia applications, the Micro SoM supports image
signal processing (ISP) with up to two cameras of up to 20MP
each.
3. I/O Interfaces:
- For display output, use the HDMI1.4a interface.
- Connect Wi-Fi and GPS antennas to the respective connectors for
wireless communication. - For touchscreen input, utilize the dual MIPI-DSI (4 lane each)
interface. - Connect cameras to the dual MIPI-CSI (4/2 lane) interfaces for
image capture. - Use the I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO interfaces for additional
peripheral connections. - Connect USB devices to the two USB 2.0 (HOST) ports and one USB
2.0 (OTG) port. - For audio purposes, use the stereo headphone out, lineout, and
mic in interfaces. - Utilize the SDIO interface for memory card connectivity.
4. Additional Information:
- It is important to note that not all interfaces can be used
simultaneously. - A mini-ITX carrier board (170 X 170mm) is available to expand
the I/O and connectivity options of the Inforce 6401 Micro
SoM. - A full-fledged development kit (Inforce 6401 Development Kit)
inclusive of both the Micro SoM and mini-ITX carrier board is also
available.
