• 3″ (76mm) Gap for overhead doors in both industrial and residential situations
• Rugged aluminum housing
• 36″ (91cm) Wire leads enclosed in armored cable
• The contact reed switch is iridium-plated to have a high melting point and Vickers hardness for higher power handling and longer expected life

• SPDT open/closed loop circuits (SM-4201-L3Q), or DPDT open/closed loop circuits (SM-4201-L6Q)

Specifications

Overview

• Contact and magnet must be installed on the protected side of the door.
• The installation shown is for the SM-4201-LQ. Other models will be different. Alarm Control GND Panel N.O.
  

Installation

Please read the manual carefully before you begin the installation.

1. Mount the contact on the track in a safe location away from equipment interference and near where the magnet will be when the door is closed.
2. Run the armored cable out of the way. Run wires from the alarm control panel and connect to the corresponding wires extending from the cable armor.
3. Mount the magnet on the roll-up door so that it will trigger the contact when the door is closed. Be sure that the gap between the contact and magnet does not exceed 3″ (60mm).

This Warranty is void if the damage is caused by or attributed to acts of God, physical or electrical misuse or abuse, neglect, repair, or alteration, improper or abnormal usage, or faulty installation, or if for any other reason SECO-LARM determines that such equipment is not operating properly as a result of causes other than defects in material and workmanship. The sole obligation of SECO-LARM, and the purchaser’s exclusive remedy, shall be limited to repair or replacement only, at SECO-LARM’s option. In no event shall SECO-LARM be liable for any special, collateral, incidental, or consequential personal or property damages of any kind to the purchaser or anyone else. This lifetime limited warranty is for products sold and installed in the United States and Canada. For all other countries, the warranty is 1 (one) year.
