D50453 Drainage System
Product Information
The product is a drain pipe strainer or cleanout assembly that
is used in concrete installation. It can be used with either metal
or non-metal strainer assemblies. It comes with optional support
rings and leveling shims to ensure proper installation and
leveling. The product is available in different sizes and finishes
to suit various needs.
Product Usage Instructions
- Deburr, clean, and prepare the drain pipe according to industry
standards. - Pour the concrete and give it a finish.
- Brush away any loose concrete from the drain area.
- Use a meter key or pair of pliers to remove the domed top of
the drain pipe. - Thread in the strainer or cleanout assembly into the drain
pipe. - If using an all-metal strainer assembly, use the optional
support ring to secure it in place. Refer to the chart below for
part numbers. - If the strainer or cleanout assembly is not level with the
finished floor, use the optional leveling shims to adjust its
height. Each shim is 1/8 inch thick, and they can be stacked to
accommodate varying degrees of leveling. Refer to the chart below
for part numbers.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR LEVELBEST® DRAINAGE SYSTEM
1. Deburr, clean and prepare the drain pipe according to industry standards.
2. Solvent weld the LevelBest® rough-in kit as close to the height of the finished concrete as possible.

Note: Due to the domed shape of the LevelBest® top, there is no need for artificial marking devices such as whiskers if the drain is close to finished height.
3. Pour and finish the concrete.
4. Brush away any loose concrete from the drain area.
5. Use a meter key or pair of pliers to remove the domed top.

6. Thread in strainer or cleanout assembly. Note: If you are using an all metal strainer assembly, an optional support ring is available. (See chart below for part numbers.)
7. If the strainer or cleanout assembly is not level with the finished floor, use optional shims to level. These shims can be stacked to adjust for varying degrees of level. Each shim is 1/8″ thick. (See chart below for part numbers.)

1. Desbarbe, limpie y prepare la tubería de desagüe de acuerdo con las normas de la industria.
2. Suelde con disolvente el kit de desbaste LevelBest® lo más cerca posible de la altura del concreto acabado.

Nota: Debido a la forma abovedada de la parte superior de LevelBest®, no es necesario utilizar dispositivos de marcado artificial, como los bigotes, si el desagüe está cerca de la altura del acabado.
3. Vierta el concreto y dele el acabado.
4. Barra cualquier residuo de concreto suelto del área de drenaje.
5. Utilice una llave de medidor o un par de alicates para retirar la parte superior abovedada.

6. Enrosque el conjunto de escurridor/drenaje.
Nota: Si está utilizando un conjunto de escurridor totalmente metálico, se dispone de un anillo de soporte opcional. (Consulte la tabla siguiente para ver los números de las piezas).
7. Si el conjunto de escurridor/drenaje no está nivelado con el piso terminado, utilice cuñas opcionales para nivelar. Estas cuñas pueden apilarse para ajustar distintos grados de nivel. Cada cuña tiene un espesor de 1/8″. (Consulte la tabla siguiente para ver los números de las piezas).
