IO Module Smart Zigbee Input Output
Product Information
The IO Module is a preventive, informing device that is designed
to provide warnings and protection. It is not a guarantee or
insurance against property damage, theft, injury, or any similar
situations. Please note that the manufacturer, frient, cannot be
held responsible in case any of these situations occur.
The IO Module can be connected to various wired devices such as
doorbells, window blinds, wired security devices, heat pumps, and
more. The connection process for these devices is the same, using
the different inputs and outputs provided.
- Inputs:
- IN1: Inputs with internal Pull Up. Must be shorted to IO Module
GND for signal. - IN2: IO Module GND
- IN3: NC2 Normally Closed for Relay Output 2
- IN4: COM2 Common for Relay Output 2
- NO2: Normally Open for Relay Output 2
- NC1: Normally Closed for Relay Output 1
- COM1: Common for Relay Output 1
- NO1: Normally Open for Relay Output 1
- IN1: Inputs with internal Pull Up. Must be shorted to IO Module
- Output:
- Max Load: 1A 1E4
- Voltage Range: 5 – 28 V d.c.
Power Supply:
- Use either 5-28 V or USB PWR as the power supply.
- If both power sources are connected, 5-28V is the primary power
supply. - If 5-28 V is disconnected, USB PWR acts as a fallback power
source.
Reset:
- Resetting is required to connect the IO Module to another
gateway or to perform a factory reset to resolve abnormal
behavior. - Follow the steps below to reset the IO Module:
- Connect the IO Module to a power outlet.
- Press and hold the reset button with a pen.
- While holding the button down, the yellow LED will flash once,
then twice in a row, and finally numerous times in a row. - Release the button while the LED is flashing numerous times in
a row. - After releasing the button, the LED will show one long flash,
indicating that the reset is completed.
Modes:
- SEARCHING GATEWAY MODE: The yellow LED flashes
while the IO Module is searching for a Zigbee network to join.
Product Usage Instructions
Getting started:
- Connect and power up the IO Module.
- The IO Module will start searching for a Zigbee network to
join. This process can take up to 15 minutes, during which the
yellow LED will flash. - Ensure that the Zigbee network is open for joining devices and
will accept the IO Module. - Once the LED stops flashing, it indicates that the IO Module
has successfully joined the Zigbee network. - If the scanning process times out, perform a short press on the
reset button to restart it.
Disposal:
Dispose of the product properly at the end of its life. This is
electronic waste that should be recycled.
FCC Statement:
