PPE Required

General Safety Instructions
- Complete pre-start checklist.
- Read Manufacturers Operation Manual (www.flexihire.com.au).
- Report any faults or damage to Flexihire 1300FLEXIHIRE.
- Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery.
- Do not operate equipment near pedestrians or people.
- Do not operate without the appropriate PPE as detailed.
- Do not operate equipment under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Operating Safety Instructions
| Inspect the prop before use to ensure it has no defects | Do not use props for anything other than supporting overhead structures |
| Do not enter an area unless the overhead structure is secure | Ensure the overhead structure is secure prior to removing any prop |
| Do not place timber or other items under props to make up the height | Check SWL safe working load above prior to use and ensure the total overhead weight is less than the props SWL |
| Do not use substitute pins – always use the original pins | Ensure the prop is pinned and secure so it will not fall over without load |



Overloading can cause the props to buckle and lead to the collapse of the shoring system.
USE SOLE PLATES WITH ADEQUATE STIFFNESS UNDER THE PROPS WHERE THE PROP IS NOT BEARING ON A CONCRETE FOUNDATION.
The foundation material must be sufficiently firm to prevent differential settleme and ave adequate bearing capacity. Preven differential settlement due to non-uniform foundation material.



PROVIDE ADEQUATE BRACING TO PREVENT MOVEMENT OF FORMWORK AND PROVIDE STABILITY TO THE FALSEWORK
