SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Important! To minimize the risk of fire, electric shock or injury: Carefully read this instruction before using the appliance. Do not immerse the body of the appliance in water or other liquids.
Immersing in water may cause an electric shock. If water spills on the external components of the appliance, dry it thoroughly before switching back on. Do not touch wet surfaces in contact with the appliance connected to power supply, immediately disconnect it from the mains. Do not use the appliance if it shows any signs of damage to the power cord, or if the appliance has been dropped on the floor. After use, always pull out the plug from the socket, and also in case of any malfunction, before cleaning or before changing accessories. When pulling out the plug from the wall outlet, never pull by the cord, only the plug, holding the socket with your other hand.
The appliance is Class I fire protection electric equipment. Do not attempt to remove any parts of the housing.
To prevent damage to the power cord, do not place it over sharp edges or close to hot surfaces. Do not expose the appliance to rain or humidity, and do not use it outdoors.
Do not operate the appliance with wet hands. If the power cord or plug is damaged, it should be replaced by a profession repair shop in order to avoid hazard. Never place the appliance on hot surfaces. Never leave the appliance connected to the mains without supervision. Pulte plug from the Wal outlet before replacing accessories.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older or by persons with physical, mentor sensory handicaps, or by those who are inexperienced or unfamiliar with the appliance, provided they are supervised or have been instructed how to safely use the appliance and are familiar with risks associated with the use of the appliance. Ensure that children do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance should not be performed by children unless they are 8 years or older and are supervised by a competent person.
The surface on which the appliance is used shale levelled, clean and dry. To turn on the appliance plug it to a grounded Wal outlet. Unplug the appliance from the Wal outlet to turn it off completely. Before using, extend power cord cable to sufficient length Use devices on a flat, stable surface. Do not use an extension cord that does not meet the applicable standards and electric regulations. Do not put aluminum foyer other objects inside the unit, this may result in electric shock or fire. Do not put food in plastic or paper packaging. Do not use the appliance for room heating. Do not use the device for other purposes than intended. Exercise caution, do not touch any hot surfaces of the sandwich maker. Don’t store or cover your appliance unless it has completely cooled down. Caution: bread may burn. When using the sandwich maker provide adequate space above the appliance and on its sides for proper air circulation. The appliance in operation must not come in contact with the curtains, wallcoverings, clothing, paper towels or other flammable materials. On surfaces sensitive to high temperatures, it is recommended to use an insulated heat pad.
Do not use the appliance for toasting food products containing sugar, processed fruit or preservatives. Important! This appliance is not designed for operation with extern time switches or a separate remote controsystem.
The appliance is designed for the preparation of toasts, crackers or similar food, do not use it for other purposes. Do not touch the surface marked with the symbol when the appliance is on or after operation. These surfaces become hot (Fig. 2). Immediately after toasting bread is very hot. Use a wooden spatula to take it out the appliance. Wooden accessories are best for this task as the risk of damage to a Teflon surface of the appliance heaters is minimized.
Do not use met utensils to take food from the heating plates. Teflon surface may be damaged. Before first use, preheat an empty appliance for approx. 10-15 minutes. This is to remove the odor caused by the production process. Then allow the appliance to coodown completely.
After placing products to be toasted on the heating plate, touch only the lid lock and/or handle, both during toasting process and after it. Food toasting produces steam and hot air. Exercise extra caution when opening and closing hot appliance. The appliance is designed for toasting one or two sandwiches. The maximum thickness of a single slice of bread should not exceed 1 cm.
DISPOSING
DISPOSAL OF OLDAPPLIANCE
In accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU and local legislation regarding used electrical and electronic goods, this appliance is marked with the symbol of the crossed out waste container. This marking indicates that the appliance must not be disposed of together with other household waste after it has been used. The user is obliged to hand it over to waste collection centre collecting used electrical and electronic goods. The collectors, including local collection points, shops and local authority departments provide recycling schemes. Proper handling of used electrical and electronic goods helps avoid environmental and health hazards resulting from the presence of dangerous components and the inappropriate storage and processing of such goods.
UNPACKING
During transportation, protective packaging was used to protect the appliance against any damage. After unpacking, please dispose of all elements of packaging in a way that will not cause damage to the environment. All materials used for packaging the appliance are environmentally friendly; they are 100% recyclable and are marked with the appropriate symbol. Important! Packaging materials (bags, polyethylene, polystyrene, etc.) should be kept away from children during unpacking.
OPERATION

Replace baking plates
- Each baking plate (for the cover and the base) features two locking tabs.
- Replace baking plates only when the appliance has cooled down completely.
- Press two locks to (Figure 3) to release the baking plates. Replace with another baking plate in its place.
Note: Never use two different baking plates. Only use baking plates provided by the manufacturer with the appliance.
How to use sandwich maker (with sandwich plates)
- Connect the appliance to the power outlet, red indicator light is on (Fig. 1, item 2).
- Wait several minutes until the heating plates reach maximum temperature (green indicator light is on (Fig. 1, item 3)).
- Open the sandwich maker by releasing the lock.
- Spread small amount of vegetable oil or butter on one slice of bread and put it upside-down on the lower heating plate. Put ingredients on the slice. Cover the sandwich with another slice of bread. Spread its upper side with vegetable oil or butter.
- Carefully close the sandwich maker. If you have any difficulties with closing, remove some ingredients from the sandwich. The appliance may not be closing with difficulty, it may cause damage. l After several minutes (toasting time depends on the recipe you use to prepare sandwiches and also on the individual preference)-open the sandwich maker and take the sandwich out. When taking the sandwich out from the sandwich maker be careful not to:
– burn yourself (sandwich maker plates are hot),
– damage the heating plates coating. use wooden, heat-resistant utensils. - After you have finished toasting, unplug the sandwich maker from the wall outlet.
Note: When consuming the sandwiches directly after toasting, be careful not to burn yourself, because sandwiches and stuffing may be hot.
Replace baking plates
- Each baking plate (for the cover and the base) features two locking tabs.

Use waffle baking plates
- Make waffle dough according to your recipe.
- Spread vegetable oil on baking plates, which will make it easier to remove your waffles after baking.
- When pouring dough on the waffle baking plate make sure it does not overflow and drip under the baking plate as this may result in electric shock and/or fire. Bear in mind that the dough will rise during baking.
- Baking time depends on individual preferences, it usually takes a few minutes.
Use grilling plates
- If there is too much food to close the cover, reduce the portion.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before any cleaning or maintenance, make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the power
source and has cooled down completely. - Do not use corrosive or abrasive products for cleaning. Use only clean water with soft detergent and soft cloth.
- Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids, do not wash with water jet. Thoroughly dry the appliance after cleaning.
- Wipe the plates with a soft, slightly damp cloth and then wipe it dry with a soft, clean cloth. Do not use cleaners that may scratch or damage the external surfaces and heating plates coating. After each use of the sandwich maker remove the accumulated crumbs and debris from the plates, taking extra care.
- Remove heating plates after each use (after it has cooled down completely) and gently clean the heating elements located under the plates.

Warranty: Warranty service as stated on the warranty card. The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any damage caused by improper use of the product.
