PFS25 Free Arm Parasol

Product Information

The 2.5m & 3.0m Free-Arm Parasol (model PFS25/PFR30) is a
garden furniture accessory manufactured by Kettler. It is designed
to provide shade and UV protection in outdoor spaces. The parasol
features a durable frame and a canopy with UV50+ protection, which
reduces UV radiation exposure by 50 times. The product comes with a
12-month warranty for home use.

Operating Instructions

Assembly

  1. Open the parasol.
  2. Fill each section of the base with 20kg of sand.
  3. Top up the base with water. Note that water alone will not
    support the parasol. Kiln dried sand is recommended for easier
    filling.
  4. Assemble parts C and D.
  5. Attach part A to parts C and D.
  6. Attach parts E and F to part A.
  7. Attach parts I to parts E and F.
  8. Before opening the umbrella, release the band and allow the
    umbrella to relax.
  9. To open the umbrella, raise the slide handle to the third hole
    counted from the bottom, then release the slide handle.

Operating Instructions

  1. To rotate the umbrella 360 degrees, pull out the knob and turn
    it 180 degrees.
  2. In windy conditions or when not in use, close the parasol and
    fit the night cover over the canopy and frame.

Maintenance and Care

To wash the canopy, carefully remove it and wash it by hand. It
is advised to put the canopy back onto the frame to dry
naturally.

Additional Accessories

Kettler offers a Wireless Parasol Speaker with LED Lights as an
accessory for purchase. The speaker can be attached to the

Warranty

Kettler provides a 12-month warranty for domestic use. The
warranty does not cover accidental damage or misuse. To validate
your warranty, register at www.kettler.co.uk and quote the product
code from the front of the user manual.

Each section of the base requires 20kg of sand and then needs to be topped up with
water. Water alone will not support the
parasol.

Before opening the umbrella, release the band and allow the umbrella to relax. There are 4 holes on
the side pole, when you open the umbrella, raise the slide handle to the third hole counted from the bottom, then release the
slide handle.

The parasol should be closed and the night cover fitted in windy conditions and when not in use. Failure to do this may result in
damage to the parasol.
The night cover fits over the canopy and frame.

1. Assemble the 3 part fibleglass rods
in sequence and insert into the slit in fabric at bottom of zip.

2. Place cover over the parasol and
frame and zip down.

Information

This parasol has UV50+ protection. What does that mean?
For example, a fabric with a UPF rating of 50 only allows 1/50th of the sun’s UV radiation to pass through it. This means that this fabric will reduce your skin’s UV radiation exposure by 50 times (98% UV block).

Hand wash canopy
The canopy can be carefully removed and washed via hand only. We advise putting back onto the frame to dry naturally.

Helpful Hint
The clips at the end of the parasol ribs allow lights to be added (not included).
