NOTE: Fits all 9″ Ford 28-spline differentials. Uses a 1330 U-joint. For 1350 U-joint, use T9-28-1350FD.
Carrier Bearing Identification & Spacer Use
NOTE: The included Sonnax spacer is used only in standard (small) bearing carriers.
If you have a big bearing OE or a Daytona carrier, do not use a Sonnax spacer (Figures 1–3).
NOTE: When using the Sonnax spacer, always install it behind the pinion nut (like a washer) (Figure 2).
This spacer is NOT intended to be installed between the yoke and bearing.
