Places of Use

The Feuerhand Baby Special 276 hurricane lantern can be used as
a source of light outdoors in places where there is no other light
source. It serves as emergency lighting for street and construction
site safety, assistance interventions, and armed forces. Please
note that it is not a decorative kerosene lantern according to the
DIN EN 14059 standard.

Using the lantern in households, residential buildings,
commercial rooms, outbuildings, tents, leisure facilities, retail
facilities, or restaurants is not allowed.

Safety Instructions

Please note that the cold-blast lantern is not a closed system.
Improper handling can lead to leakage. Please read the check list
provided in the user manual to troubleshoot any leakage issues.

Product Description

The Feuerhand Baby Special 276 hurricane lantern is made of
galvanized steel, making it resistant to corrosion. The colored
models are powder-coated. The heat-resistant and shockproof glass
protects the flame from external factors.

How It Works

In a cold blast lantern, fresh air circulates between the inside
and the outside of the chimney and is warmed up through the pipe
system. Fresh air goes through the side pieces, arrives in the
burner, and supplies the flame with enough oxygen for combustion.
The hot air from the combustion escapes through the chimney.

How to Use

Filling with Fuel:

1. Open the tank lid.
2. Fill the tank of the lantern with lamp oil. Fill with fuel just
   to the bulge (see marking on figure 1).
3. Before the first use, let the wick soak in fuel for about 20
   minutes after adding fuel to the lantern before lighting it.

WICHTIGE HINWEISE
Lies diese Gebrauchsanleitung vor der ersten Benutzung aufmerksam durch. Beachte insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise und hebe dieses Dokument gut auf. Übergib es auch an einen möglichen Nachbesitzer.
Einsatzorte der Sturmlaterne Feuerhand Baby Special 276: Die Laterne ist konzipiert und konstruiert als Lichtquelle für den Außenbereich an Orten, an denen sonst keine andere Möglichkeit für eine Lichtquelle besteht. Die Laterne dient an solchen Orten als Notbeleuchtung, z. B. bei der Straßen- und Baustellenabsicherung, bei Hilfseinsätzen und beim Militär.
Die Sturmlaterne stellt eine Primärlichtquelle und keine dekorative Öllampe im Sinne der Norm DIN EN 14059 dar.
Sie darf nur eingeschränkt im Außenbereich verwendet werden und nur unter Beachtung der nachfolgenden Sicherheits-, Warn- und Gebrauchshinweise. Die Laterne darf nicht im Haushalt, in Wohngebäuden und sonstigen Räumen (z. B. gewerblicher Art), in Nebengebäuden jeder Art (Hütten, Schuppen und dergleichen), in Zelten jeglicher Art sowie im Außenbereich von Freizeiteinrichtungen, Verkaufseinrichtungen oder Gaststätten verwendet werden.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
· Verwende die Laterne ausschließlich im Freien.
· Lass die Laterne nicht unbeaufsichtigt brennen.
· Informiere dich über die jeweils geltenden Brandschutzvorschriften und halte diese ein.
· Nimm bei der Nutzung in der Natur Rücksicht auf die Tier- und Pflanzenwelt sowie auf Naturschutzgebiete.
· Halte den Sicherheitsabstand zu brennbaren und wärmeempfindlichen Gegenständen ein. Stelle die Laterne nicht auf empfindliche Oberflächen.
· Decke die Laterne nicht ab. Brandgefahr!
· Kein Benzin oder Spiritus verwenden. Keine Öle mit Duft- oder Farbstoffen verwenden. Unbedingt reines Paraffinöl oder Petroleum verwenden. Wir empfehlen Feuerhand Lampenöl. Beachte auch hier die Sicherheitshinweise.
· Warnung! Die Laterne wird heiß! Fasse sie deswegen nur am Tragebügel an.
· Halte die Laterne und ihren Brennstoff stets von Kindern und Tieren fern.
· Lass die Laterne nach dem Betrieb vollständig abkühlen.
· Keinen Brennstoff während des Betriebsnachfüllen oder ablassen.
· Bei unsachgemäßer Bedienung oder Zweckentfremdung der Laterne wird keine Haftung übernommen.

IST MEINE FEUERHAND STURMLATERNE UNDICHT?
Bitte beachte, dass das Kaltluftsystem kein geschlossenes System ist. Bei falscher Handhabung kann die Laterne lecken.
Lies dir diese Checkliste durch, um zu überprüfen, warum das Petroleum aus deiner Feuerhand Sturmlaterne austreten könnte:
· Überfüllen vermeiden: Wir empfehlen, die Laterne mit maximal 300 ml zu füllen (bis zur ersten Rundung des Tanks). Die maximale Tankkapazität findest du auch in dieser Bedienungsanleitung).
· Nach dem Befüllen darf die Laterne nur aufrecht stehen oder hängen: Anhand der Skizze siehst du, dass der Brennstoff durch das nicht geschlossene System austreten kann, wenn er in der Laterne hin und her schwappt. Bewege deine Sturmlaterne nach dem Befüllen also nicht mehr! Vor dem Transport muss das Petroleum vollständig entfernt werden.
· Setze deiner Laterne keinen großen Temperaturunterschieden aus: Durch starke Temperaturschwankungen kann sich das Öl ausdehnen, es fängt an zu kriechen. Befülle deine Laterne also etwa immer unter den Umständen, unter denen du sie auch betreiben möchtest.

· Drehe den Docht ordnungsgemäß zurück: Ist der Docht nach dem Erlöschen nicht ausreichend zurückgedreht, transportiert er aufgrund der Kapillarwirkung weiterhin Brennstoff, der anschließend über den Brenner außen am Tank herunterläuft.

Die Feuerhand Kaltluftlaterne besteht aus galvanisch verzinktem Stahlblech und ist somit widerstandsfähig gegen Korrosion. Die farbigen Modelle sind zusätzlich pulverbeschichtet. Das hitzebeständige und bruchfeste Glas schützt die Flamme optimal vor äußeren Einflüssen.

SO FUNKTIONIERTS
Bei einer Kaltluftlaterne wird die Frischluft zwischen dem inneren und äußeren Bereich des Schornsteins zugeführt und durch das Röhrensystem vorgewärmt. Die Frischluft gelangt durch die Holme bis zum Brenner und versorgt die Flamme mit ausreichend Sauerstoff, der zur Verbrennung benötigt wird. Die heiße Verbrennungsluft entweicht über den Kamin.

BEDIENUNG
EINFÜLLEN DES BRENNSTOFFS Öffne den Tankdeckel und befülle den Tank der Laterne mit Petroleum. Fülle den Brennstoff bis maximal zur Wölbung (Abbildung 1, siehe Kennzeichnung). Vor dem ersten Betrieb muss sich der Docht erst mit Brennstoff vollsaugen. Lass die Laterne nach dem Befüllen deswegen ca. 20 Minuten stehen, bevor du sie anzündest.
LATERNE ANZÜNDEN Hebe den Glaszylinder der Laterne an, indem du den Bügel auf der linken Seite nach unten drückst und in die vorgesehene Kerbe einhaken lässt. Entzünde den Docht, der ca. 1 bis 2 mm aus dem Brenner herausragen sollte, mit einem Feuerzeug oder Streichholz. Sobald der Docht brennt, setze das Glas mithilfe des Bügels wieder langsam ab. (Abbildung 2)
EINSTELLEN DES DOCHTES Du kannst die Größe der Flamme regulieren, indem du den Drehgriff des Brenners bedienst. (Abbildung 3) Die Flamme sollte nicht flackern oder rußen. Empfohlen wird eine Flammengröße zwischen 1,5 und 2 cm. Wird der Docht nach unten gedreht, erlischt die Flamme. Prüfe durch erneutes Hochdrehen, ob sie tatsächlich erloschen ist. Hinweis: Den Docht nicht zu weit nach unten drehen, da er sonst den Halt im Brenner verlieren könnte.

REINIGUNG, PFLEGE UND LAGERUNG
· Entferne den verkohlten Teil des Dochtes, indem du ihn möglichst sauber und fransenfrei abschneidest.
· Befreie das Glas nach Bedarf vom Ruß.
· Schütze die Laterne vor Feuchtigkeit.
REINIGEN DES GLASES Zur Reinigung des Glases muss der Schornstein nach oben gezogen werden. Dazu lege die Finger auf den Tragebügel und ziehe mit dem Daumen die Hebeöse nach oben. (Abbildung 4) Das Glas kann nun in seiner Drahthalterung zur Seite geklappt und aus der Halterung entfernt werden. (Abbildung 5)

GEWÄHRLEISTUNG
Bei sachgemäßem Gebrauch erhältst du auf deine Feuerhand Baby Special 276 eine Gewährleistung von zwei Jahren ab Kaufdatum. Dies betrifft nicht die Verschleißteile. Lässt sich deine Feuerhand Sturmlaterne aufgrund von Schäden am Material oder Herstellungsmängeln nicht entzünden, hast du Anspruch auf Nachbesserung. Setze dich dazu mit deinem Fachhändler in Verbindung.

AUSWECHSELN DES DOCHTES Bewege bei aufgeklapptem Glas den Drehgriff des Brenners im Uhrzeigersinn und entnimm das komplette Bauteil. (Abbildung 6) Entferne den alten Docht und zieh mithilfe des Drehgriffs am Brenner den neuen Docht durch die Öffnung. Denke daran, dass auch der neue Docht etwa 20 Minuten braucht, um sich mit Brennstoff vollzusaugen. Entzünde die Laterne erst danach.

LAGERUNG Lass die Laterne nicht ungeschützt im Freien stehen oder hängen. Verstaue die Laterne stets trocken. Entferne das Petroleum vor dem Verstauen vollständig.

Places where the Feuerhand Baby Special 276 hurricane lantern can be used: The lantern is designed and built as a source of light for outdoors in places where there is no other light source. In such places, the lantern serves as emergency lighting, e.g. for street and construction site safety, assistance interventions and armed forces.
The hurricane lantern represents a primary source of light and is not a decorative kerosene lantern according to the DIN EN 14059 standard.
Outdoors, its use is restricted and must be in compliance with the following safety, warning and use instructions. Using the lantern in households, residential buildings and any other rooms (e.g. when they are used for commercial purposes), in outbuildings of any kind (huts, sheds and alike), in tents of any kind, as well as outside of leisure facilities, retail facilities or restaurants is not allowed.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
· Only use the lantern outdoors.
· Never let the lantern burn unsupervised.
· Comply with fire safety regulations.
· Show consideration to the plant and animal life and to nature reserves when using the product outdoors.
· Keep a safety distance to flammable and heat-sensitive objects. Never put the lantern on sensitive surfaces.
· Never cover the lantern. Fire hazard!
· Do not use petrol or spirit. Do not use scented or coloured oils. Use exclusively pure paraffin oil or lamp oil. We recommend Feuerhand Lamp Oil. Follow the safety instructions.
· Warning! The lantern becomes hot! Therefore, only touch the carrying handle.
· Always keep children and animals away from the lantern and its fuel.
· Let the lantern cool down completely after use.
· Do not refill or let out fuel when in use.
· The warranty does not cover improper use or misuse of the lantern. Such use invalidates the warranty.
· Once the lantern is filled, place or hang it in a vertical position! Never tilt or swing the lantern for this can cause leaks! The lantern is not suitable for transport when filled!

DOES MY FEUERHAND HURRICANE LANTERN LEAK?
Please note that the cold-blast lantern is not a closed system. Improper handling can lead to leakage.
Please read this check list in order to verify why your Feuerhand lantern is leaking:
· Avoid overfilling: We recommend a filling level of max. 300 mL (up to the first bulge of the tank). Please see the maximum tank capacity in this user manual.
· Once the lantern is filled, place or hang it in a vertical position: The drawing shows that fuel can leak out when it sloshes around in the lantern. Do not move your lantern once it is filled! Remove the fuel completely before transporting the lantern.
· Avoid temperature changes: Do not expose your lantern to major temperature changes for the oil expands and starts to spread. Therefore, always fill your lantern according to the current purpose.
· Turn down the wick properly: If the wick is turned down incorrectly after the lantern has cooled down, the fuel moves on due to capillary effect and leaks out of the tank.

HOW TO USE
FILL WITH FUEL Open the tank lid and fill the tank of the lantern with lamp oil. Fill with fuel just to the bulge (see marking on figure 1). Before the first use, the wick needs to soak in fuel. Therefore, wait for about 20 minutes after adding adding fuel to the lantern before lighting it.
LIGHTING THE LANTERN Lift the glass cylinder of the lantern by pressing the handle on the left side and hooking it in the notch provided. Light the wick, which should stick out of the burner by about 1 to 2 mm, with a lighter or a match. As soon as the wick burns, slowly replace the glass by means of the respective handle. (Figure 2)
ADJUSTING THE WICK You can adjust the size of the flame by turning the rotating handle of the burner. (Figure 3) The flame should not flicker or emit soot. The recommended size of the flame is between 1.5 to 2 cm. The flame becomes extinct when the wick is turned downwards. Make sure the flame has really stopped burning by turning the wick upwards again. Advice: Do not turn the wick down too far, otherwise it could lose its grip in the burner.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
· Remove the carbonised part of the wick by cutting it neatly and without fraying.
· Remove the soot from the glass after use as required.
· Protect the Feuerhand lantern from humidity.
CLEANING THE GLASS The chimney must be lifted up to clean the glass. To lift it up, place your fingers on the carrying handle and draw the lifting eyelet upwards with your thumb. (Figure 4) The glass can now be put on the side in its wire support and removed from its support. (Figure 5)

WARRANTY
In the case of proper use, a warranty period of two years will apply to your Feuerhand Baby Special 276 from the date of purchase. This does not apply to wear parts. If you cannot light the Feuerhand hurricane lantern due to a defect in material or workmanship, you are entitled to a warranty repair. Contact your retailer for that purpose.

CHANGING THE WICK When the glass is lifted, turn the rotating handle of the burner clockwise and remove the entire component. (Figure 6) Remove the old wick and draw the new wick through the opening by turning the rotating handle next to the burner. Do not forget that the new wick needs to soak in the fuel for about 20 minutes. Light the lamp afterwards.

STORAGE Do not leave the Feuerhand Baby Special 276 unprotected outdoors. Always store it in a dry place. Remove the lamp oil completely before storing the lantern.

Lieux où la lampe-tempête Feuerhand Baby Special 276 peut être utilisée : la lanterne est conçue et construite comme une source de lumière pour l’extérieur dans des endroits où il n’y aurait sinon aucune possibilité d’avoir une source de lumière. La lanterne y sert d’éclairage de secours, par ex. pour la protection de rues et chantiers, lors d’intervention de secours et pour l’armée.
La lampe-tempête constitue une source de lumière primaire et non pas une lampe à pétrole décorative conformément à la norme DIN EN 14059.
Elle ne peut être utilisée qu’en extérieur et seulement dans le respect des consignes de sécurité et d’utilisation et des avertissements suivants. La lanterne ne doit pas être utilisée dans le foyer, dans les immeubles d’habitation et autres pièces (par ex. à caractère commercial), dans les dépendances de toutes sortes (cabanes, hangars et autres), dans les tentes de toutes sortes, ni à l’extérieur de structures de loisirs, centres commerciaux ou restaurants.

CONSIGNES DE SECURITÉ

· Attention ! La lampe-tempête chauffe ! Ne la touchez donc que par la poignée.
· Tenez enfants et animaux à l`écart de la lanterne et de son combustible.
· Laissez bien refroidir la lanterne après utilisation.
· Ne pas remettre ou enlever de combustible lorsque la lampe-tempête est en train d`être utilisée.
· Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de mauvaise utilisation ou d`utilisation détournée de la lanterne.

MA LAMPE-TEMPÊTE FEUERHAND EST-ELLE ÉTANCHE ?
Veuillez noter que le système de circulation d’air froid n’est pas un système fermé. En cas de manipulation incorrecte, la lampe-tempête risque de fuir.
Veuillez lire cette liste de vérification, afin de savoir pourquoi du pétrole pourrait s’écouler de votre lampe-tempête Feuerhand :
· Éviter tout remplissage excessif: Nous recommandons une quantité maximale de remplissage de 300 ml (jusqu’au premier arrondi du réservoir). La contenance de remplissage maximale est également indiquée dans ce mode d’emploi.
· Après le remplissage, la lampe-tempête doit être à la verticale ou suspendue: Grâce au croquis, vous voyez que du pétrole peut s’échapper par le système non fermé si celui-ci est ballotté d’un côté et de l’autre. Il ne faut donc plus bouger la lampe-tempête après l’avoir remplie. En cas de transport, il faut vider complètement le réservoir.
· N’exposez pas votre lampe-tempête à de grandes variations de température: En raison de fortes variations de température, l’huile peut se dilater ; elle commence à fuir. Remplissez donc toujours votre lampe-tempête dans les conditions dans lesquelles vous souhaitez l’utiliser.

· Rentrez correctement la mèche : Si la mèche n’est pas suffisamment rentrée après l’extinction, elle continue à transporter du combustible par capillarité, qui s’écoule ensuite vers l’extérieur du réservoir via le brûleur.

La lanterne à circulation d`air froid Feuerhand est composée d`acier recouvert de zinc par le procédé de galvanisation, ce qui la rend résistante à la corrosion. Les modèles colorés ont en plus un revêtement par poudre. Le verre résistant à la chaleur et incassable protège parfaitement la flamme des agents extérieurs.

FONCTIONNEMENT
Dans une lanterne à circulation d`air froid, l`air frais est acheminé entre l`intérieur et l`extérieur de la cheminée et réchauffé par le système de conduits. L`air frais passe le long des barres, arrive au brûleur et alimente la flamme avec l`oxygène nécessaire à la combustion. L`air chaud résultant de la combustion s`échappe par la cheminée.

UTILISATION
REMPLIR DE COMBUSTIBLE Ouvrez le couvercle du réservoir et remplissez le réservoir de la lanterne avec de l’huile pour lampe-tempête. Remplir de combustible au maximum jusqu`à la voûte (Figure 1). Avant la première utilisation, la mèche doit être bien imprégnée de combustible. Pour cela, laissez reposez la lanterne env. 20 min après avoir mis le combustible, avant de l`allumer.
ALLUMER LA LANTERNE Soulevez le cylindre en verre de la lanterne en appuyant vers le bas sur le côté gauche de la poignée de façon à l`accrocher dans l`encoche prévue. Allumez la mèche, qui doit dépasser du brûleur d`env. 1-2 mm, avec un briquet ou une allumette. Dès que la mèche brûle, reposez lentement le verre à l`aide de la poignée. (Figure 2)
RÉGLER LA MÈCHE Vous pouvez régler la taille de la flamme en utilisant la poignée rotative du brûleur. (Figure 3) La flamme ne doit pas vaciller ou émettre de la suie. La taille de flamme recommandée est entre 1,5 et 2 cm. La flamme s`éteint quand on rentre la mèche vers l`intérieur. Vérifiez qu`elle soit bien éteinte en remontant la mèche. Conseil : Ne pas trop descendre la mèche, afin qu`elle ne perde pas l`équilibre dans le brûleur.

NETTOYAGE, ENTRETIEN ET STOCKAGE
· Retirez la partie carbonisée de la mèche en la coupant le plus proprement et nettement possible
· Retirez la suie du verre après utilisation.
· Protégez la lanterne Feuerhand de l`humidité.
NETTOYAGE DU VERRE Pour nettoyer le verre, il faut tirer la cheminée vers le haut. (Figure 4). Pour cela, posez les doigts sur la poignée de transport et tirez l`anneau de levage vers le haut avec le pouce. Le verre peut maintenant être rabattu sur le côté et retiré du support. (Figure 5)

GARANTIE
La durée de garantie est de deux ans à compter de la date d’achat de votre Feuerhand Baby Special 276 dans le cadre d’une utilisation adéquate. Les pièces sujettes à usure n’entrent pas dans la garantie. Si votre lampe-tempête Feuerhand ne s`allume pas en raison de défauts de fabrication ou de matériel, vous avez droit à une réparation. Veuillez alors contacter votre commerçant.

REMPLACEMENT DE LA MÈCHE Quand le verre est relevé, tournez la poignée rotative du brûleur dans le sens des aiguilles d`une montre et retirez l`ensemble du composant. (Figure 6) Retirez l`ancienne mèche et faites passer la nouvelle mèche à travers l`ouverture à l`aide de la poignée rotative du brûleur. N`oubliez pas que la nouvelle mèche a aussi besoin d`env. 20 min pour être bien imprégnée de combustible. N`allumez la lampe-tempête qu`une fois cela fait.

STOCKAGE Ne laissez pas la lampe-tempête Feuerhand Baby Special 276 sans protection en plein air. Rangez-là toujours à sec. Videz le réservoir de pétrole complètement avant de ranger la lanterne.

¡Gracias por elegir la lámpara Feuerhand Baby Special 276! La marca Feuerhand se remonta a una tradición de más de 100 años y continúa fabricándose en Alemania.
NOTAS IMPORTANTES
Lee atentamente el presente manual de instrucciones antes del primer uso. Presta especial atención a las instrucciones de seguridad y conserva este manual en un lugar seguro. Entrega el manual a cualquier propietario posterior del producto.
Lugares en los que puede usarse la lámpara de tormenta Feuerhand Baby Special 276: la lámpara está concebida y diseñada como fuente de luz para exteriores en los que no existen otras opciones de iluminación. La lámpara sirve en tales lugares como iluminación de emergencia; por ejemplo, como elemento de seguridad en carreteras y obras, en operaciones de auxilio y en el ejército.
La lámpara de tormenta es una fuente de luz primaria y no una lámpara de aceite decorativa en el sentido de la norma DIN EN 14059.
Únicamente puede usarse en exteriores y respetando las siguientes instrucciones de seguridad, advertencias e instrucciones de uso. La lámpara no debe usarse en hogares, en edificios residenciales o de otro tipo (por ejemplo, de tipo comercial), en instalaciones adyacentes a edificios de cualquier tipo (cabañas, cobertizos y similares), en tiendas de campaña de cualquier tipo, así como tampoco en las áreas exteriores de instalaciones recreativas, instalaciones comerciales o establecimientos de restauración.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
· VUtiliza la lámpara siempre al aire libre.
· No dejes la lámpara encendida sin vigilancia.
· Infórmate de las normas de prevención de incendios aplicables en cada caso y cúmplelas.
· Cuando uses la lámpara en la naturaleza, sé responsable con la flora y la fauna, así como con las áreas naturales protegidas.
· Mantén la lámpara a la suficiente distancia de seguridad de objetos combustibles o sensibles al calor. No deposites la lámpara sobre superficies sensibles.
· No cubras la lámpara. ¡Peligro de incendio!
· No utilices gasolina ni alcohol de quemar. No utilices aceites con sustancias aromáticas o colorantes. Utiliza siempre parafina o petróleo puros. Recomendamos el aceite para lámpara Feuerhand. Ten en cuenta también las instrucciones de seguridad del combustible.
· ¡Precaución! ¡La lámpara se calienta! Por ello, tócala únicamente por el asa de transporte.
· Mantén la lámpara y su combustibles siempre alejados de los niños y los animales.
· Tras cada uso, deja que la lámpara se enfríe completamente.
· No rellenes ni vacíes el combustible cuando se esté utilizando la lámpara.
· El fabricante no asumirá ningún tipo de responsabilidad en caso de que la lámpara se utilice incorrectamente o para fines indebidos.

· Tras la operación de relleno, la lámpara debe depositarse sobre una superficie o colgarse en posición vertical. ¡Nunca inclines, vuelques ni balancees la lámpara! La lámpara no debe transportarse con el depósito lleno.
¿HA PERDIDO ESTANQUEIDAD MI LÁMPARA DE TORMENTA?
Ten en cuenta que el sistema de aire frío no es un sistema estanco. Si no se maneja correctamente, la lámpara puede tener fugas.
Repasa esta lista de verificación para determinar por qué puede estar perdiendo petróleo tu lámpara de tormenta Feuerhand:
· Evita rellenar el depósito en exceso: recomendamos rellenar la lámpara con un máximo de 300 ml de combustible (hasta el primer abombamiento del depósito). En el presente manual de instrucciones también encontrarás la capacidad máxima del depósito.
· Tras la operación de relleno, la lámpara debe depositarse sobre una superficie o colgarse en posición vertical: en la ilustración se aprecia que, al no tratarse de un sistema estanco, puede escaparse combustible al agitarse en la lámpara. Por lo tanto, no muevas tu lámpara de tormenta una vez la hayas rellenado. Antes de transportar la lámpara, debe vaciarse el petróleo por completo.
· No sometas tu lámpara a cambios de temperatura demasiados bruscos: las oscilaciones fuertes de temperatura pueden hacer que el petróleo se expanda y empiece a escurrirse hacia el exterior. Rellena tu lám-

para siempre bajo las mismas condiciones bajo las que deseas utilizarla.
· Gira la manija para volver a introducir la mecha: si, una vez apagada la lámpara, no giras la manija para volver a introducir suficientemente la mecha, esta, por acción capilar, seguirá transportando combustible, que luego subirá a través del quemador y se demarrará por el exterior del depósito.
DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PRODUCTO
La lámpara de aire frío Feuerhand está realizada en chapa de acero galvanizado, por lo que es resistente a la corrosión. Los modelos de color llevan un revestimiento pulverizado adicional. El vidrio resistente al calor y a las roturas protege óptimamente a la llama de las influencias externas.

ASÍ FUNCIONA
En una lámpara de aire frío, el aire nuevo circula entre el interior y el exterior de la chimenea, precalentándose mediante el sistema de tubos. El aire nuevo accede hasta el quemador a través de los tubos laterales, suministrando el oxígeno que requiere la combustión. El aire caliente de la combustión es expulsado por la chimenea.

MANEJO
RELLENAR CON COMBUSTIBLE Abre la tapa del depósito y rellena el depósito de la lámpara con petróleo. Rellena como máximo hasta el abombamiento (señalizado en la Figura 1). Antes del primer uso, la mecha debe empaparse de combustible. Por eso, deja reposar la lámpara tras rellenar el depósito durante 20 minutos antes de encenderla.
ENCENDER LA LÁMPARA Eleva el cilindro de vidrio respecto del resto de la lámpara presionando hacia abajo el estribo del lado izquierdo y encastrándolo en la muesca prevista para ello. Con un encendedor o con cerillas, enciende la mecha, que debe sobresalir aproximadamente 1-2 cm del quemador. Cuando la mecha prenda, vuelve a bajar lentamente el cilindro de vidrio con ayuda del estribo (Figura 2).

AJUSTAR LA MECHA Puedes regular el tamaño de la llama girando la manija del quemador (Figura 3). La llama no debe centellear ni producir hollín. Se recomienda un tamaño de llama de entre 1,5 y 2 cm. Si bajas la mecha girando la manija, la llama se apaga. Vuelve a elevar la mecha girando la manija en sentido contrario para comprobar si efectivamente se ha apagado. Consejo: No bajes demasiado la mecha, pues de lo contrario puede desprenderse del quemador.

LIMPIEZA, MANTENIMIENTO Y ALMACENAMIENTO
· Retira la parte carbonizada de la mecha mediante un corte lo más limpio posible y sin flecos.
· En caso necesario, limpia el hollín del cilindro de vidrio.
· Protege la lámpara de la humedad.

GARANTÍA
Utilizada correctamente, tu lámpara Feuerhand Baby Special 276 tiene una garantía de dos años a partir de la fecha de compra. Esto no es aplicable a las piezas de desgaste. Si no pudieras utilizar tu lámpara de tormenta Feuerhand debido a daños en el material o defectos de fabricación, tienes derecho a que se repare. A tal fin, te rogamos ponerte en contacto con tu distribuidor.

LIMPIAR EL CILINDRO DE VIDRIO Para limpiar el cilindro de vidrio, la chimenea debe estar levantada. Para ello, agarra con la mano el asa de transporte y, utilizando el pulgar, tira hacia arriba de la anilla de elevación (Figura 4). El cilindro de vidrio puede ahora abatirse hacia un lado con su alambre de fijación y extraerse de su sujeción (Figura 5).

CAMBIAR LA MECHA Con el cilindro de vidrio abatido, gira la manija en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj y extrae la mecha por completo (Figura 6). Retira la mecha usada y, con ayuda de la manija del quemador, introduce la nueva mecha por la apertura. Ten en cuenta que también la nueva mecha necesita unos 20 minutos para empaparse de combustible. Deja transcurrir este tiempo antes de encender la lámpara.

ALMACENAMIENTO No dejes la lámpara apoyada o colgada al aire libre sin protección. Guárdala siempre en un lugar seco. Retira todo el petróleo antes de guardarla.
