My Prolite® Multicyclonic Lightweight Bagless Vacuum Has No Power | Support

  • Unplug machine
  • Run hand along entire length of power cord, it should be smooth
  • Check plug for damage
  • Check to see if outlet is working:
    • Test this by plugging in a cell phone charger or small appliance
    • If no power to outlet, test a different outlet in a separate room
    • Reset circuit breaker if needed
  • Verify handle is firmly inserted with screws tightly secured to the machine
    • Front-side of handle should be flush with lower handle assembly
    • If there is a gap, push firmly until flush
  • Machine is equipped with a Thermal Protector that will shut off the vacuum if there is a clog or dirty filters
    • The power and brush lights will blink if machine overheats and Thermal Protector engages
    • Refer to “No Suction” for more information on how to clean filters or remove clogs
    • Remove obstructions and allow machine to rest for 30 minutes for Thermal Protector to reset
