FORTIS MAGNETIC ROWING MACHINE (MR-300)
The FORTIS MAGNETIC ROWING MACHINE (MR-300) is a fitness machine designed to provide a full-body workout. It consists of various  parts, including the main frame, handlebar, seat supporting board,  rear and front support frames, magnetic board combination, front stabilizer, computer, inductor, hole plug, computer pallet, pedal, bandage, belt plate, wave washer, spacer on shaft, ring, braid  wheel, spiral spring, PC sheet, axle, cap, bearing, mesh belt, end  cap, foam grip, pulley, spring washer, tension knob, sleeve, pin,  housing, water bottle holder, knob, magnet, aluminum wheel, adjusting U seat, and foot pad. The machine operates using magnetic resistance and features a computer that displays time, distance, calories burned and other relevant information.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before assembling or using the product, read all instructions carefully to ensure proper assembly and usage of the product.
  2. Assemble the product using the parts described in the overview section of the manual. Do not skip any steps or substitute any  parts to avoid personal injury or product damage.
  3. Ensure all parts are securely fastened before using the product.
  4. To use the product, adjust the tension knob to increase or decrease the resistance level.
  5. Place your feet on the pedals and grab the handlebar with both hands.
  6. Sit on the seat and adjust it to a comfortable position.
  7. Begin rowing by pushing off with your legs and pulling back with your arms.
  8. Use the computer to track your progress and adjust your workout as necessary.
  9. After using the product, wipe it down with a clean, damp cloth and store it in a dry place.

  • Before starting any exercise program, you should consult your physician to determine if you have any medical or physical conditions that could put your health and safety at risk or prevent you from using the equipment properly. Your physician’s advice is essential if you are taking any medication that may affect your heart rate, blood pressure or cholesterol level.
  • Incorrect or excessive exercise can damage your health.   • This equipment is intended for adult use only. Keep children and pets away from the machine. DO NOT leave children unattended in the same room with the equipment.
  • This equipment is designed for consumer use. Follow directions and use only as described.
  • Once fully assembled, inspect to ensure all hardware parts such as bolts, nuts and washers are positioned correctly and tightly secured.
  • Always inspect the safety chain guard that protects the moving parts of the rower to be in safe and good order.
  • Always inspect the seat, seat slider and grips to make sure they are in safe and stable position before using the rower.
  • It is recommended to lubricate all moving parts monthly.
  • Dry after each use to remove moisture. Wipe regularly with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner and water solution. To avoid damaging the finish, never use a petroleum-based solvent.
  • Use the equipment on a solid, flat level surface with a protective cover for your floor or carpet. To ensure safety, the equipment should have at least 2 feet (approximately 60
    cm) of free space on each side.
  • Prior to assembly, ensure you have all the components and tools listed. Some components are pre-assembled to help with the assembly process.

ASSEMBLY

Step 1
Adjust the Rear Support Frame (5) to a maximum angle as shown in the image below. Remove the pin (66). Open the front support frame (6) slowly in the direction shown in the  image. Ensure not to clip two connecting wires in the tube. Fix the Front Support Frame (6)  to the Main Frame (1) with knob (71) and washer (50). Step 2:
Attach the Front Stabiliser (8) to the Main Frame (1) using Bolt (90) and Washer (64). Tighten with a Spanner (A).FORTIS-MR-300-Magnetic-Rowing-Machine-fig-3

Step 3:
Remove the Screws (22) from the back of Computer (14) with the Spanner(A). Connect the Computer Wire (14 a) with Inductor (15). Attach the Computer (14) to the Computer Pallet (17) using the Screw (22)FORTIS-MR-300-Magnetic-Rowing-Machine-fig-4

Step 4:
Remove the Bolt (67), Washer (64) and Spring Washer (49) from the Seat (110) using the Spanner (A). Fix the Seat (110) to Seat Supporting Board L (4) and Seat Supporting Board R (3) with the Bolt (67), Washer (64) and Spring Washer (49).FORTIS-MR-300-Magnetic-Rowing-Machine-fig-5

Step 5:
Attach the Pedal (24) to the Main Frame (1) using Bolt (23). Tighten with the Spanner (B).FORTIS-MR-300-Magnetic-Rowing-Machine-fig-6

Step 6:
To use the Seat (110) for rowing exercise, pull out the Knob (72), rotate it clockwise 90 degrees then release it. The Seat (110) can now slide on the frame horizontallyFORTIS-MR-300-Magnetic-Rowing-Machine-fig-7

Step 7:
Remove the Battery Cover (59) on the back of the computer (14). Insert two Batteries (60). Make sure the battery polarity (+/-) is correct while inserting the batteries. BEFORE FIRST USE

Tension Adjustment

Increase Resistance
Rotate the Tension Knob (61) clockwise (in the B direction as shown in the image) to increase the level of resistance. The resistance is greatest when the Tension Knob is rotated to setting 8.FORTIS-MR-300-Magnetic-Rowing-Machine-fig-9

Decrease Resistance
Rotate the Tension knob (61) counter-clockwise to decrease the level of resistance. The resistance is least when the Tension Knob is rotated to setting 1.FORTIS-MR-300-Magnetic-Rowing-Machine-fig-10

Balance Adjustment:
During use, if you notice that the machine is unbalanced, adjust the the height of End Cap (94). To adjust, rotate the End Cap (94) in A or B direction (as shown in the image) until the machine becomes level with the floor surface.

OPERATION

Functions

  • MODE: Press this button to change the display or to choose a program.
  • SET: In the setting mode, press this button to increase the setting value for TIME, COUNT and CAL.
  • RESET:  In setting mode, press this button to reset the value for TIME, COUNT and CAL. In monitor mode, hold this button for 3 seconds to reset all values to zero.
  • SCAN: Press MODE until “SCAN” appears. The computer will rotate through all the 4 functions: Time, Count, Calorie, Total Count. Each display will be held for 6 seconds.
  • COUNT: (CNT)  Shows an instant count with a range from 0 ~ 9999. The count  value can be set in advance, when it approaches the preset  count, the computer will beep for 10 seconds.
  • TIME:  Count the total time from exercise start to the end with a range from 0:00 ~ 99:59 minutes. Exercise time can be set in advance, when it approaches the preset time, the computer will beep for 10 seconds. The maximum pre-set time is 99 minutes.
  • CALORIES: (CAL) Count the total calories burned from exercise start to the end with a range from 0.0 ~ 9999. The calorie value can be set in advance, when it approaches the preset calorie value, the computer will beep for 10 seconds.
  • TOTAL COUNT (TOTAL): The total count will be displayed after installing the batteries. The range is from 0 ~ 9999. AUTO ON/OFF & AUTO
  • START/STOP: When the machine is not in operation for 4 minutes, the power will turn off automatically. Once motion begins, the computer will turn on automatically.

Battery
The computer uses x2 “AAA” (Um4 R03) batteries. When the display screen light begins to fade, remove the batteries, and replace them.

  • Rotate the Knob (72) counter-clockwise to 90 degrees. Insert to the hole in the Main frame (1) to fix the Seat (110).
  • Pull out the Pin (66) and loosen the Knob (71). Fold the Front Support Frame (6) as shown in the image.
  • Re-insert the Pin (66), then tighten the Knob (71) into the Front Support Frame (6).
  • Stand up the main frame and combine Rear Support Frame (5) as shown in the image.

  • To move the machine, lift up the Rear Support Frame (5) until the Transportation Wheels on the End Cap (94) of Front Stabiliser (8) touch the ground. Once the Transportation
