Nest Cam Technical Specifications
The Nest Cam is a smart security camera that can capture and store up to 60 days of event video history. It requires a continuous power source (power cable accessories sold separately) and a Nest Aware Plus subscription (sold separately) for continuous video recording up to 10 days of 24/7 video history.

Product Usage Instructions
- Install the Nest Cam on a wall or stand using the included secure loop if mounting higher than 6.5 ft (2 m) above the ground.
- Connect the Nest Cam to a continuous power source using a USB-C power cable (sold separately).
- Download and install the Nest app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Open the Nest app and follow the instructions to set up the Nest Cam, including connecting it to your Wi-Fi network and creating a Nest account.
- Use the Nest app to view live video from your Nest Cam, receive motion and sound alerts, and manage your video history.
- To access continuous video recording up to 10 days of 24/7 video history, subscribe to Nest Aware Plus (sold separately).
- To use voice commands with your Nest Cam, enable the Nest Cam skill in the Alexa or Google Assistant app and link your Nest account.

Requirements
- Compatible mobile device (minimum OS requirements are available at g.co/nest/requirements)
- Nest Cam requires a Wi-Fi network, a working broadband internet connection with at least 2 Mbps upload speed per camera for optimal performance (DSL may not qualify), a compatible mobile device, the free Home app, and a Google Account.
- Works with Hey Google features require additional hardware (sold separately), which could include a Google Nest device.
- Minimum requirements are available at g.co/nest/requirements.
- Video streaming, phone alerts, and history may be subject to interruptions or failures for reasons beyond Google’s control, like intermittent Wi-Fi or service provider outages.
- Nest Cam does not provide third-party monitored emergency notification or response.
- Availability and performance of certain features and services are service-, device-, and network-dependent and may not be available in all areas.
