INTRODUCTION

Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia oil service and oil degradation reset tool. Compatible with the latest Fault Tolerant CAN vehicles. Designed to extinguish the oil service light and to show if there is a fault on the CAN bus which is a common problem with some vehicles.

OPERATION

• Compatible with latest Fault Tolerant CAN vehicles.
• CAN BUS Fault indicator.
  The new FIAT service reset tool has been designed to extinguish service lights for the latest FIAT Fault Tolerant CAN vehicles.
  In addition to service reset, the tool has been designed to display a warning lamp when a fault on the CAN bus is present, thus serving as a useful diagnostic aid for all vehicle systems.
  Service Reset Type 1 – Will reset the service dependent on the service schedule for vehicles labelled Type 1.
  Service Reset Type 2 – Will reset the service dependent on the service schedule for vehicles labelled Type 2.
  Oil Light Reset – Resets the Oil Degradation indicator. Only on models with Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).
  The ’CAN FAULT’ LED will flash on initial power up of the SLR tool if a CAN Bus fault is present.

Vehicle Set-Up.

1. Connect to vehicle.
2. Switch ignition on.
3. Press mode button to select correct reset type.
4. Press the ‘OK’ button to perform reset.

APPLICATIONS

Environmental Protection
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain off any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and the fluids according to local regulations.

WEEE Regulations
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
