CONNECT LEADER HOSE AND MOUNT HOSE REEL
- A. Connect the brass end of the leader hose (9) to the in-tube (4) inside the hub (6).
- B. Select wall mounting position with thought given to stability and reach of leader hose. Mounting screws (5) supplied will penetrate wood siding and sheeting. Other than wood siding, see your dealer for proper fasteners. Place the back of the mounting hub (6) against the wall and mark mounting points through four holes in the hub. Remove the hub from the wall and pre-drill marked points using a 5/32″ drill bit.
Assemble the mounting hub to the wall using four mounting screws (5), making sure that the leader hose is positioned inside the notch of the hub closest to the water outlet.
ATTACH REEL TO HUB
- A. Open the lubricant tube (7) and smear contents on the o-rings of the supply tube.
- B. Slide the tab of reel lock (2) to the “unlock” position (away from the center of the cover plate). Push the reel onto the mounting hub (6) until it stops. Slide the tab of the reel toward the center of the cover plate to the “lock” position. The reel can now be rotated. To remove the peel, slide the reel lock to the “unlock” position and pull the reel from the hub.
CONNECT YOUR HOSE TO REEL
- Connect the end of the hose to the water out-tube.
CAUTION
If freezing may occur, remove from the faucet and drain water out of the hose and reel. Otherwise freezing of trapped water may cause damage to the reel or water pipes. Store indoors during colder months.
CAUTION
- DO NOT cross-thread the garden hose onto the out-tube.
- Check that the garden hose has a washer inside the female coupler.
If the washer is missing, consult your local hardware store for the correct washer needed.
