INSTRUCTIONS

DO NOT USE WITH IGNITION SYSTEMS EXCEPT AS SHOWN BELOW:

  • Connect the alligator to the chassis or anylground.
  • TO FIND POWERED WIRES test the wire with the probe and if power is present, the light on the handle will illuminate.
  • TO FIND BROKEN WIRES test with the probe along the length of the wire until the tester no longer lights. This will indicate where the wire is broken.
  • TO TEST FUSES place the tip of the tester on the terminal after the fuse. If the tester lights, the fuse is good.
  • TO TEST LIGHT PLUGS (BRAKE LIGHTS, REVERSE LIGHTS, ETC.) Hold the alligator on the chassis or ground, place the probe on the base, if the tester lights up, the plug is good.

MAINTENANCE

Before use wipe off dust with a damp cloth.
The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or by persons without experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received prior instruction in the use of the appliance.

CAUTiON Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when handicapped persons or children use or are near any electrical appliance.

TO CHANGE THE LAMP
Remove the plastic handle by turning it. To remove the lamp, press and twist lightly, then insert the replacement lamp and put the handle in place.
