MDU1104 1-8 Cell Lithium Battery Level Indicator Module-User Configurable

Product Information:

The HandsOn Technology Lithium Battery Level Indicator is a
compact and user-configurable device that can measure the capacity
level of 1 to 8 cell lithium batteries. It features a blue LED
4-segment display that shows the battery level and can be
configured using jumper pads. The device has a green/blue display
color, and its dimensions are 45 x 20 x 8 mm (L x W x H). It weighs
5g and has an operating temperature range of -10~65.

The jumper pads can be used to select the number of cells to be
measured, as shown in Table-1. Only one pad should be shorted at a
time to measure from 1 to 8 cells. The device can be easily
connected to a lithium battery pack with just 2 wires.

Product Usage:

1. First, determine the number of cells in your lithium battery
   pack.
2. Refer to Table-1 to identify the appropriate jumper pad setting
   for the number of cells in your battery pack.
3. Short the corresponding jumper pad to configure the device for
   the desired number of cells.
4. Connect the device to your lithium battery pack using 2 wires.
   The red wire should be connected to the positive terminal, and the
   black wire should be connected to the negative terminal.
5. The blue LED 4-segment display will show the battery level
   based on the number of cells in your battery pack and the jumper
   pad setting.
6. Disconnect the device from your lithium battery pack when not
   in use.

Jumper Pad Setting:

Shorting one of the jumper pad to select number of cells to be measured. Only one pad to be shorted at a time to measure from 1 to 8 cells as the table-1 below.
