EC1168C Vanity Light
Product Information
The EC1167C/EC1168C is a light fixture that comes with a wire
connector, mounting bracket, fixture body, glass, socket collar,
and bulb (not included). It has a maximum wattage rating of 100
watts and requires careful assembly and installation to ensure safe
usage.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation process, turn off the main
power to avoid the risk of electrical shock. - Remove the fixture from the carton and lay out all the
components on a clean and flat surface. - Attach the canopy mounting screws to the mounting bracket with
screws facing outward. The side of the mounting plate marked GND
must face outward. Attach the mounting bracket to the outlet box
with long screws (not included). - Connect the ground wire from the fixture and canopy to the
junction box and secure the electrical connections using the wire
connector. Connect the neutral (or white) wire from the fixture to
the neutral wire from the power supply and connect the hot (or
black) wire from the fixture to the hot wire from the power supply
using the wire connector. Tuck wires neatly back into the outlet
box. - Mount the fixture body onto the mounting bracket by lifting it
onto the screws facing outward. Adjust the fixture body as desired,
then tighten and secure in place with barrel knobs. - Install glass onto the fixture body and tighten it using the
socket collar. - Screw in a bulb (not included) into the lamp socket. Do not
exceed the maximum wattage specified on the fixture’s wattage
rating label.

WARNING TO AVOID THE RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK, BE SURE TO TURN OFF MAIN POWER PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
CAUTION Refer to the wattage caution label located near the socket for the maximum wattage rating. Do not exceed maximum rated wattage.
ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
1. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton. Take the parts from the package and lay all the fixture components in a clean and flat surface.
2. Attach Canopy Mounting Screws (a) to the Mounting Bracket (B) with screws facing outward. The side of mounting plate marked “GND” must face outward. Attach Mounting Bracket to the Outlet Box with Long Screws (b) (not included). 3. Connect the GROUND WIRE from the fixture and canopy to junction box, secure the electrical connections using the Wire Connector (A). Connect the NEUTRAL (OR WHITE) WIRE from the fixture to NEUTRAL WIRE from power supply
with the Wire Connector (A). Connect the HOT (OR BLACK) WIRE from fixture to HOT WIRE from power supply with the
Wire Connector (A). Tuck wires neatly back into the outlet box.
4. Mount Fixture Body (C) on to the Mounting Bracket by lifting it on to the screws facing outward. Adjust Fixture Body (C) as desired, then tighten and secure in place with Barrel Knobs (c). 5. Install Glass (D) onto the Fixture Body (C) and tighten the Glass (D) using the Socket Collar (E). 6. Screw Bulb (not included) (F) into the lamp socket. Do not exceed the maximum wattage specified on the fixture’s wattage rating label. MAXIMUM 100 Watts.
