Important safety instructions

- Do not use an obviously defective product.
The product generates alternating magnetic fields during normal use that could cause interference with cardiac pacemakers, implanted defibrillators (ICDs), and other implants. Always maintain a distance of at least 3.94″/10 cm between the product and the cardiac pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or other implant.- Keep the product, accessories and packaging parts out of reach of children and pets to prevent accidents. Swallowing and choking hazard.
- Do not use the product in an environment that requires your special attention (e.g. when performing skilled jobs).
- Always keep the product dry and do not expose it to extreme temperatures to avoid corrosion or deformation.
Intended use/Liability
The EZT 3012 induction loop is an accessory for Sennheiser infra-red and RF receivers as well as for conference units of a conference system. The EZT 3012 inductively couples the audio signal from the receiver/conference unit to hearing aids.
It is considered improper use when the product is used for any application not named in the corresponding product documentation.
Sennheiser does not accept liability for damage arising from misuse or improper use of this product and its attachments/ accessories.

Using the EZT 3012
CAUTION
Danger due to magnetic fields!
If you connect the EZT 3012 to devices that are not designed for use with the induction loop, magnetic fields can be generated that could cause dangerous interference with cardiac pacemakers, implanted defibrillators (ICDs), and other implants.
- Only connect the induction loop to Sennheiser devices.
Connecting the induction loop
- Connect the 3.5 mm jack plug of the induction loop to your receiver or to the corresponding audio output of your Sennheiser device.

- Set your hearing aid to the so-called T-position. If your hearing aid has no T-position, please contact your hearing aid acoustician.
For alternative connection possibilities to your hearing aid as well as the connection to cochlea implants, please contact your hearing aid acoustician.
Listening with the induction loop
WARNING
Danger of hearing damage due to high volume levels!
Listening at high volume levels can lead to permanent hearing defects.
- Before using the receiver or the conference unit, set the volume to a low level.
- Do not continuously expose yourself to high volume levels.
- Place the induction loop around your neck, with the large Sennheiser logo facing away from your body.
- Switch your audio source on.
- Switch the receiver or the conference unit on.
- The easy, individual adjustment of the sound to your personal hearing ability can be set, for example, via the volume control on the receiver. This allows hearing aid users to enjoy an undisturbed listening experience in optimum sound quality, without the need for cables.

Cleaning and maintaining the EZT 3012
- Clean the induction loop with a slightly damp cloth.
