1. Remove the front panel and upper access panel from the air handler by removing the screws with a screwdriver.
2. Remove the screws holding the electrical box in place.
3. Remove the electrical box and move it to the side.
4. Remove the screws holding the access panel in place.
5. Slide the electric heat kit into the opening behind the access panel removed in the previous step. (NOTE: The end of the heat kit has prongs that align with holes on the back wall of the air handler. Please refer to the images below as a guide.)
6. Secure the heat kit to the air handler by installing the mounting screws.
7. Next, install the breaker. (NOTE: During the installation, you will need to lift up the buckle first.Then, hold the breaker bracket and put down the buckle to properly secure the breaker).
8. Connect the electric heat kit connector to the air handler wiring harness. Once the heat kit is securely mounted, refer to the wiring diagram on the electrical box and the electrical information contained within the air handler installation manual for the proper wiring instructions and procedures.
   WARNING
   All wiring of the installation should ONLY be performed by a qualified electrician.
9. Once the heat kit has been properly wired, reinstall the electrical box back to its original position with the screws that were previously removed.
10. Reinstall the front and upper panel to the air handler to complete the installation process.
