EVERPURE Claris Ultra Filter Cartridges
All information in this Everpure Claris ULTRA guide relates to the use of Everpure Claris ULTRA filter cartridges in combination with Everpure Claris filter heads.
The installation & operation guide attached to the Everpure Claris filter heads is also suitable for use with Everpure Claris ULTRA filter cartridges, unless specific information is given for Everpure Claris ULTRA in this guide.
Application
The Everpure Claris ULTRA flter cartridges are typically used to feed the following appliances:
- Coffee and espresso machines
- Drinks vending machines
- Ice machines
The Everpure Claris ULTRA filter systems fits into all Everpure Claris filter heads.
Function
Everpure Claris ULTRA filter catridges use a new water-conditioning method to optimize the quality of hot drinks and ice cubes and to protect machine parts from mineral deposits and for water-related aggression.
The incorporated 5 um membrane carbon block reduces undesirable cloudiness, organic impurities, taste and odour and chlorine residue from the filtrate.
Flushing during installation and replacement of ULTRA filter cartridges
Replaces 5.1.1,(5) and 5.1.2 (4) in the Everpure Claris installation & operation guide. Insert the Everpure Claris ULTRA filter cartridge into thefilter head by rotation and screw clockwise until it stops (see page 3, item 8). This vents the system and flushes the filter cartridge (type ULTRA 250 and 500> 10 litres/3 US gal; 1000 and 1500> 20 litres/6 US-gal; 2000> 30 litres /8 US-gal).

Replaces the table in chapter 10 of the Everpure Claris guide The recommended settings and capacities for Everpure Claris ULTRA are mentioned in the tables on page 11. the actual hardness degree isn’t listed in the tables the recommended settings and capacities of the next listed higher hardness degree is valid. Please note: the hardness degrees listed in the capacity tables relate to carbonate hardness (alkalinity).
