Introduction
The PSE-1 and PSE-2 enclosures are built in the tradition of all Cerberus Pyrotronics systems. They are sturdy for long life and attractive to add to your buildings appearance. When used in a PXL fire alarm system it is listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. and Underwriters Laboratories of Canada.
Description
The PSE-1 houses a PXL system including up to 16 initiating device circuits, one power supply module PPS- 10M, one transformer model PTX-12 and 15 Amp hour battery set. Up to either 2 PNC-2Z NAC modules or 2 PRM-4 Relay Modules (or one of each) can also be
housed in the enclosure.
The PSE-2 can house all the above equipment and expand the system to its maximum compliment of 32 IDC’s, 16 NAC’s, 32 relays and 2 power supplies. When 2 power supplies are installed, 2 PTX-12 transformers are required and can be installed in the enclosure. The PSE-2 comes complete with a battery bracket which allows for mounting 2-15 AH battery sets. The bracket can be removed and one model BTX-1, 31 AH battery set can be installed; or one PMK-2 bracket which holds 8 relay modules, model PRM-4, can be installed. Additional battery sets should be removed to a separate enclosure such as the Model BB-55 battery box.
Semi-flush trim and dead front options are available for boththe PSE-1 and PSE-2 enclosures. They come standard in Cerberus Pyrotronics black, however, both enclosures and flush trim kits are available in red to satisfy local code requirements. Both enclosures include module mounting bracket(s), model PMK-1.
