Product Information: Perren 12 Flush Mount
The Perren 12 Flush Mount is a light fixture that is designed to
be mounted on a junction box. The product comes with a mounting
plate, screws, glass shade, and support cable. The fixture requires
a Phillips screwdriver, slotted screwdriver, drill, hammer, and
pencil for installation. It is important to note that the light
fixture should be installed in accordance with all applicable,
local installation codes and by a person familiar with the
construction and operation of it, as well as the hazards involved.
The fixture should be inspected carefully before installation, and
if any damage or defect is found, it should not be installed. The
care instructions for the product recommend cleaning only with a
soft dry cloth or feather duster and not using abrasive or chemical
agents.
Product Usage Instructions
- Carefully remove all parts from the box and place them on a
clean, soft surface. - Remove mounting plate (B) from fixture (F) by removing screws
(E). - Using the mounting plate (B) as a guide, line it up with the
junction box and mark anchor positions. - Using a drill bit slightly smaller than the anchor, drill holes
in the marked positions. Install anchors (I) into the holes. - Install mounting plate (B) to junction box and secure it with
mounting screws (C). Then, secure wood screws (J) to anchors
(I). - Place glass (G) into shade (H), then install shade (H) to
fixture (F) and secure it with screws (D). - Run support cable through the hole on the back of mounting
plate (B). Loosen screws (E) and attach support cable to the
fixture (F). - Connect the fixture hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire
(usually black) using wire nut (A). Note that the hot and neutral
connections should not be reversed. - Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck
them into the junction box. - Install fixture (F) to mounting plate (B) by securing it with
screws (E).

1. Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface. 2. Remove mounting plate (B) from fixture (F) by removing screws (E). 3. Using the mounting plate (B) as a guide, line up with the junction box
and mark anchor positions. 4. Using a drill bit slightly smaller than the anchor, drill holes in the
marked positions. Install anchors (I) into the holes. 5. Install mounting plate (B) to junction box and secure with
mounting screws (C), then secure wood screws (J) to anchors (I). 6. Place glass (G) into shade (H), then install shade (H) to fixture (F)
and secure with screws (D). 7. Run support cable through hole on back of mounting plate (B). Loosen
cable lock and install to end of support cable. Insert other end of cable through the cable lock and tighten ends with a screwdriver to secure. (see diagram 1) 8. Wrap fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 2). Tighten. Continue fixture ground wire and connect to supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using wire nut (A). NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded. 9. Connect fixture neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (A).

10. Connect fixture hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (A). CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
11. Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the junction box.
12. Install fixture (F) to mounting plate (B) by securing with screws (E).
Care Instructions: Clean only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do not use abrasive or chemical agents.
